Re: OT: The Official Coronavirus thread - Be well, be safe
First let's look at all countries of the world that have recorded positive virus cases.
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/
Then areas that have 5G service-
https://www.speedtest.net/ookla-5g-map
And understand that wavelengths have a finite distance they are capable of traveling.
"5G can carry a lot of data much faster than 4G, but it also means a much shorter range. 4G wavelengths have a range of about 10 miles. 5G wavelengths have a range of about 1,000 feet, not even 2% of 4G's range"
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.businessinsider.com/5g-high-speed-internet-cellular-network-issues-switch-2019-4%3famp
If you compare the maps, plenty of countries without 5G anywhere near them still have virus cases. Sorry I don't have anything hyperlinked, I'm using the realgm app.

Unfortunately, you can't actually look at the articles she's waving in her hands.
I'm not able to find any publications that significantly demonstrate a negative health from radiofrequency light.
If the intensity is high enough, it can heat up tissue. That's for sure.
I would assume you're not going to have that kind of intensity at street level from a cell phone tower.
This article shows you the standard argumentation:
https://www.cancer.org/cancer/cancer-causes/radiation-exposure/cellular-phone-towers.html
There are studies that claim effect, but they're not convincing, as far as I can understand.
I don't work in that field (I'm a particle physicist), I cannot claim to have done a critical reading of the entire literature.
"Mainstream" science hasn't shown any connection to between cell towers and negative health effects. This has been a recurring conspiracy theory in the news forever, which forced lots of people to spend their time looking into the data to see if there's a link. If the majority of people working in this field are not convinced, you really have to ask yourself why that is. If you're going to try to argue, like this woman does, that this is because of the nefarious influence of the wireless industry, I would really like to see that claim backed up. That's quite an accusation against quite a large community of public health science.
I really can't understand how people buy into conspiracy theories. There's a conspiracy theory for everything, if you poke around on the internet long enough. How do you decide which one to believe?
If you're not willing to or qualified enough to do the research yourself, the most logical thing to do is to trust the most reputable source, which is the scientific consensus.
Sure it can be wrong, and you shouldn't take it on blind faith, but it's the best option you've got.
Just look at the other videos linked from the youtube channel you pointed me to.
It's obvious nonsense. That's what you want to believe? It's probably set up by some troll-farm.

Right lol. Ok then let’s talk about the nearly 200 scientists and doctors from around the world who demanded a moratorium on 5G. Let’s talk about all the other whistle blowers then. Do some research. Here’s another doc...

Wow! That sure is great news. It is almost understandable that when we had no data to be extra safe. But this makes sense. Maybe locking up healthy people isn't the way to go. Especially with suicides, alcoholism, abuse, opiate use up, et. I heard 8 US States show not a big difference as well, with lockdown states (as long as you follow social distaaaaaaancing.)

Maybe the Harlem residents will be thankful in the long bc those crazy white people are playing with fire, as usual.
This is worst time to be out. If black folk are patient and can stay inside, this could be their chance. I know my people and they can't handle this.

Trump Acknowledges we will have 100,00 deaths from COVID-19. There will be up to 3,000 deaths/day in June. Meanwhile, the Republicans are busy polishing up this argument:

Heavy traffic on the LIE near the BQE this afternoon, but the streets in Manhattan are still empty (in the 50s where the banks are). I'm wondering where these people drive to.

I was outside this weekend at the parks, never seen so many people outside. Most were wearing masks but to me it looked like people were pretty much over it. Not a lot of distancing going on. We should either see a spike in cases or it's pretty much over with

I was just watching Lawrence O'Donnell and he had this doctor from LSU on and he encountered a patient who came back tot he hospital RE-INFECTED. I'll repeat that. RE-INFECTED.
We really don't know a lot about this virus. From what I'm gathering, it is developing at its own pace while we're still learning more about it. It's still very dangerous out there.

I thought after 15 deaths, it would go "poof" like it was never here. Or was it a few thousand? Maybe 60,000 tops. Ok, I meant 100,000.
