He is a pretty good rebounder, he is a very good 3 ball shooter and would add that tall stretch element that we don't have with any of our front court players currently (depending on what you think of Randle). And he is arguably a better overall defender than Randle currently. I am not saying he is unequivocally better than Julius but he definitely has components of his game that are better. He is younger and fairly durable too.
You can't say he's fairly durable when he he's never played 70+ games in his career and only played over 60 games 3 times in his 7 years.
This information is not very accurate.
First, he only played 6 seasons.
Season 1: played 58 from 59 games before being indefinitely sidelined as a preventive matter to avoid possible injury aggravation or to tank for Ja Morant (depending on your point of view).
Season 2: played 57 from 74 games of Bubble season. He had played 54 of the first 56 games. But he missed 15 of his last 18 games because it was a lost season for Memphis.
Season 3: injured season. He played only 11 games.
Season 4: played 78 games.
Season 5: played 63 games being an all-star. Although missing his first 14 games, he played 63 of his last 68 games.
Season 6: played 66 games. But he did not play his last 6 games for tanking reasons.
He probably would play more games in 3 of his 6 seasons if Memphis were in playoff contention.
Don't think we're talking about the same player??
