And them handing out big contracts to Holiday and White -- big time role players -- is probably going to look appealing in a couple of years for the next crop of high value free agents when those 2 players are on the decline. Smart move on Boston's part. The risk there, though, are injuries. They already have a thin front court with KP out until January and Al pending a sharp decline. So when that happens, they'll be bargain basement shopping, too.
