Jokes aside tho, what’s your stats projections on KAT this season? You are one of few anti Randle fans I value their ball knowledge so I’m curious to hear what you think KAT is gonna average for us.
I don't really know how they're going to use him in terms of pecking order, I would say we should have 3 guys that average 20ppg. I still think Mikal needs to be elevated to a more central role, but now with KAT here I don't know which one of them is going to get the ball the most. I'd expect Mikal to be the secondary on ball guy, and KAT being an outlet for both him and Brunson should get him more attempts.
With how quick he can make passes and how much OG, Mikal and Hart like to cut he could have a career year in passing.
It’s gonna be interesting to see how Thibs uses KAT. Thibs loves to iso his stars so I feel like KAT can potentially have a monster year. I low key hope they can unleash KAT and get him to be a 24-27 PPG guy. He got the talent to do it on a daily basis.
The only guy I'm a little worried about in the starting 5 on offense is Josh, he has to shoot the three and be aggressive even if they do soft closeouts against him. That said, the Warriors were able to thrive with Draymond being a reluctant shooter connector and I think Hart can be that connector piece on offense. We don't have Steph and Klay, but they didn't have 4 guys on the court that could shoot the three either.I expect teams to try and guard him with centers, so he's gonna have to be the guy he was in the playoffs where he took 4.5 a game.
