yeah, hate to sound so pessimistic, but....that's all we're getting. IF we're lucky. We'll win 35-40 games next year, miss the playoffs again, switch picks with the Rockets, and endure another summer of watching our rivals fight it out in the playoffs while we drink ourselves to death.

let's hope it doesn't go down- why would washington need another pg when they're going to have wall and arenas?

LOL!
but you gotta admit this is a tough pill to swallow. Washington basically hand gifting 2 max FA's to the bulls...
Is the Washington GM being held at gun point or something!???!

I guess they're getting a package of future picks but they're all mediocre. It seems to me to be a horrible trade.

Just because I just joined doesn't make me a bandwagoner. Great logic there. I have been a fan for over 20 years.

If you guys are confident you'll get Lebron you shouldn't care what other teams will do. Personally, I still think he will get the all the attention he wants from everyone and say "I am re-signing with my home state. You didn't think I was leaving did you?"

bandwagoner? I've been a Knick fan since Oak was slamming cats into the front row for no reason. Since Rick Brunson led a furious cheerleading routine from the bench during our '99 Finals run. Since John Wallace, Walter McCarty, and Dontae Jones were supposed to be the future of our franchise. I remained a loyal fan through the Isiah Era. Ain't no bandwagoning here. I'm just so used to disappointment and gut punches that I can see no light at the end of the tunnel, and can you really blame me?

if WHEN we do get back to the top, it will feel that much better. We'll be like the Red Sox reviving themselves.

Yep. Though...

I just had a picture of Walsh asleep face first at his desk with the door locked and D'Antoni head and mustache bobbling up and down on the other side of the door jumping and screaming trying to wake Walsh up.

Then a flash forward to tomorrow morning after Walsh wakes up, with D'Antoni and the locksmith standing over his desk and Walsh saying "hey what are you guys doing here?".

Seriously though some of these guys that are crying doom are pathetic and should seriously think about becoming Bulls fans (or Nets fans...the 3 of them over on the Nets board could use some company). Get a freakin grip and be a man...instead of sissy girls.

Lol @ jokers acting like the world is coming to an end, because of this trade. If Bosh and Lebron want to come to NY, it doesn't matter if Chicago, or any other team, opens enough cap space for 10 max contracts. If they want to be here, they will.

Return to New York Knicks
