Dunno how bad the injury is but Chandler is playing like he wants no part of being traded.

I think the Nuggets are just going to keep him and finish out the season, which is cool with me because we will most likely be able to keep our valued pieces.

While the Nuggets realize they will have to seriously engage the Knicks in trade talks for Anthony before the Feb. 24 deadline, a third team already has stepped into the on-deck circle as a potential facilitator if talks between Denver and New York ever gain traction. That team, sources say, is the Timberwolves, who are willing to absorb Eddy Curry's $11.3 million expiring contract in a three-team scenario that would send Anthony Randolph to Minnesota and Anthony to New York.

Has this been discussed yet????

I can't see how it would work. Denver, presumably doesn't want Wilson Chandler and Minnesota doesn't have any real assets to send to Denver in exchange for Randolf or WC.

Yes. Two incoming first rounders this year. If we could somehow get them involved, I'd be willing to take Webster off their hands (if the right deal presents itself).

Yeah but who would Denver give Minny?

There not just going to trade picks to DEN in exchange to us giving them Curry but there GM is Kahn so you never know. Maybe they would take Al Buckets.

They'd probably want Billups since the guy can't get enough PGs

So basically Curry would have 4.7 million left on the contract at that time. We pay them 3 million. A low first round pick and 1.7 million is pretty cheap for AR. It kind of makes sense though I don't know how long Kahn will continue collecting big men.

After tonight, I'll include anyone other than Amare / Felton / Moz in a Melo deal.

Well I would too in theory, but Amare and Felton are exempted for the obvious logitistical reasons unfortunately.

Trading Amare for Melo defeats the purpose

So maybe DW didn't bang Kahn's wife (or mother if it's more age appropriate) after all.
