Re: Knicks-Nuggets Post Game (Free Candy Strikes)
The thing with Gallo was all we heard from fans last year was he wasnt consistent enough. Yet Amare and Melo have been all over the place. Up, down, here, there. Nobody knows what Melo and Amare are going to give us right now but since they have the "star" label its okay while Gallo was developing as a 22 year old does.

No, I am not better than this.. why should I be? all I know is what is happening now and it sucks...
I know it sucks, but Melo's injured, I don't understand why if he shot "30-30" and we won the game why'd you dislike him. He's a good player, his injured wrist is f*cking up his shot. He is truly trying to pass more, he is averaging a career high in assists, in a slower pace offense, in which he has to try and get them when players just sit and stand still when he has the ball. Amar'e isn't helping either, Amar'e should be able to take advantage of Melo being double.. yet he isn't. And thats the thing, Amar'e if he was playing well, would also cause teams to hesitate about doubling Melo.. and Melo 1 on 1 (When healthy) is deadly. I truly understand your frustrations, but the team isn't helping Melo look good either. Think about... look how good we looked when our bench/role players were hitting the shots they are supposed to hit.. once Toney and Billy stopped hitting their shots, we looked so bad again. Either we need to hope they get out of the funk, or try to get Novak in the rotation because at least he can hit the three consistently. Amar'e needs to step up, we can't put everything on an injured Melo to play hero ball everynight. Its a good thing Landry is stepping up because he is helping with while Amar'e is playing like garbage. Amar'e didn't have a "pass-first" point guard last season.. especially after the Melo trade, yet he didn't look this bad on offense.. he needs to man up already. Chauncey barely, if at all set up Amar'e last year.. so I don't think the PG thing is really a problem.. granted Baron will help Amar'e look AMAZING, I don't think Amar'e should look like a scrub when he doesn't have a PG.

F*#K! We win this if Andre Miller doesn't hit that prayer.
Melo was pretty bad except in crunch time (Its what he do!). Pass when doubled/tripled. He can't be initiating the offense. Get a point Grun!
Positives: Tyson, Landry & Shump were good. And Billy when he played!
Amare was invisible late(combination of Dantoni, Melo and Amare for that tonight)
Good game for Gallo, and Free Candy lol.
Tough loss

I don't agree with his views, but cut him some slack. It's been frustrating for us fans....
But it's useless to dwell on the past in this case, won't change anything.

To Flop or Not To Flop
To Flop = Defensive Stop and/or Free Throws for Flopper. Increases Fouls on other players.
Not to Flop = Vanity of principled stand against practice as if it is not part of the NBA game. Gives edge to those who Flop.

The others are employed by other teams. The only coach available on that list is Phil Jackson, which you claim can play hardball with players. Are you even reading the posts you reply to? Pharmcat said there are few coaches that will play hardball with players. You made a list in reply. The first guy on your list was fired for not getting along with a star. Step 1: Think. I never said anything about the other coaches. My post was about Phil. Just admit you have no idea what you're talking about and move on.

No problem with voicing your opinion about how the team suck, but to constantly comparing us to another team is very annoying.
Now, with that said, I believe in Melo and this team, and will hold judgement until the end of the season. But, Melo has been awful this past few games, however i contribute you this to the wrist (shots are short) and frustration. He need to watch film, work on ball movement and clear his head.
I agree, I am sick of the Denver love all the time as Knicks fans.
The same thing is going to happen in Yankee land for Montero, I just **** know it. I am so tired of the attachments to the players at times, its ridiculous. Every 5 threads its something on Gallo/Felton/Mozgov/Chandler and its going to get worse since DEN has I believe 2 1st rounders from NYK.
Gallo doesn't give a crap about NYK nor does Mosgov. Both registered season(And Gallo career high) against NYK. They enjoyed adding to our misery, they are both enemies to the Knicks fam and I was booing against both of them tonight. **** them for contributing to the Knicks loss. We brought Mozgov from nowhere and drafted Gallo when some thought it was a bit too high.
nor does our owner!!!!!!!!!!!

if you don't know he was hoping for this, you're just not reading the situation correctly. i'm not angry at him though, i knew this is exactly how he would act if we lost.

We all vent here once in a while, some more than others. Winning will cure all, just sucks being a fan right now.

That doesnt even make sense. So when I push you, you shouldn't move? Cause thats basically your logic
Flopper is falling all on the ground and all over the place. Something Gallo does not do. Our concept is to attack the rim, not stay perimeter like Melo is doing. Melo was getting the same FT attempts here in Denver cause he attacked. Thats what happens when you constantly attack
I also like to address Melo game with that being said. Trust me. Melo posting from his usual ISO spot wasn't the best of times. What Im seeing from him now is something I've always wanted to see... except he's a little too perimeter this time. I say that because while great offensively, his 3 point shot wasn't THAT good cause he didnt take enough. Thats what separated him from a Lebron or Kobe offensively. IMO while you think Karl handled him great, he didn't give him more freedom to distribute and move around like he's doing now, in IMO. He got a lot offensive fouls by playing bully ball. He also missed a lot of layups. But he did get to the FT line. So I mean take it how you believe it

Once more, the NYC media gives D'Antoni another free pass after an inexcusable loss; why am I not surprised?

Dolan will find a way to **** both squads up in the end, he's a **** clown.

I don't know how many of you caught the opening of the pregame, but Trautwig opened the show by quoting an unnamed scout's opinion of the trade: "They traded four starters for a celebrity". That's the way that Al Trautwig opened today's broadcast.
Haters.
