Dude was always a bum. Same as Trey Burke. A bum. Guys wear Knick uni's and automatically they're given second chances just because.

You know when players aren't who you think they are? When they're 19 year old rookies.

All he said is that there'll be a change. We don't know that that means HE'LL get traded. I think Perry probably promised him a trade or that he'll trade someone else to open up a rotation spot. It's all in the air.

Nothing wrong with speaking up about wanting to play. Doesn't make him a cancer.

it really is a sick irony with us Knick fans isn’t it? 19 year old Frankie’s potential has already been mapped out but Trey Burke is destined for a career renisance on the Knicks of all teams.

I Wonder how hard they pushed for a 3rd team to take Kanter when the trade went down?

I don't get this Burke garbage. The dude been in the league 5 years. Played in 270 games. Started in 111 of them. And people want to "see what he can do." That cat is who is he is. Plain and simple. Yet we have a 19 year old who seems eager to learn, and continue his maturation as a player and people already growing tired of him. This board at times has its head lodged up their ass.

Im not sure. I can understand that it would have been hard and we had to take him on, but we could have still found minutes for Willy

They didn’t push. The name Enes Kanter didn’t sound like Ryan Anderson so they took the deal

He wants to play soooooo bad but still doesn't play defense when he does get in games which he knows is what we want from him and would think any team that trades for him will also want from him. So if you want to play soooooo bad then show the effort during practice or when you get into games.

I don't get it either. He's been given abundant opportunity to prove his worth to some NBA team but he's not an NBA player. Just watch him in his defensive stance and his defensive slide. He looks like a 70 year old man.

I'm sorry but we're still way better off with Kanter than we are with Ryan Anderson. That shouldn't even be a debate. Anderson's contract would have been disastrous. Kanter's is a slight bump in the road if he opts in. Kanter is probably actually tradeable without a pick attached. Anderson couldn't even get moved with a 1st attached. There's no comparing the 2 value wise.

Or KOQ can get a DNP every once in a while. He's not such a force that he needs to play every game. Hornacek has handled the roster horribly.

The Ryan Anderson deal would've been better. Even if you still want to play KP at the 4 Anderson could've come off the bench since you still had 3 centers on the roster.

But Anderson and KP together would've fit when you wanted to play KP at the 5. This organization wanted to run from Phil Jackson so bad and so quickly. You could tell with the THJ signing.

I've always said build your team for the future and how it can compete with who you project will be the championship caliber teams when you anticipate you'll be ready.

Real talk. If I was a in that locker room and had tenure, I would step to Hernangomez.

When would Anderson's contract expired? Because the last thing the team should've been worried about is cap space in a rebuild.

Nah ryan anderson wouldve been much worse. Maybe not on the ball court, but 2 more seasons at $20mil a year. Thats noah-esque

We'd barely be getting ready to contend in 2 years. Non-factor. Cap space to the NYK is like free crack to a crackhead. We don't need it right now.

Return to New York Knicks
