Here's a news flash, though: Monk sucks and so does this trade

You took a 2nd rounder and developed him into a player, something worth more than a 2nd now - a late first or another young player. Instead you trade him for two more 2nds so you can draft another Cleanthony Early and Slavko Vranes. Do you know how difficult it is to find a player in the 2nd round and have him become valuable? This is an awful trade in all aspects. We got ZERO return on a prospect we developed.

This is type of trade you make to get a malcontent off the team. You're better off playing Willy the rest of the season and trading him at the Draft. This is one of the worst trades I've ever seen.

I think you're a littler overreacting here. I don't like this deal, but this is not a fleecing. that 2nd rounders can be pretty decent. of course if we dealt him in the offseaon we could've gotten a midfirst.

I figured something like this was the best we could do but that was why I was against trading him. Now I gotta pray that this is step one to a flurry of moves that will add up when it's all said and done...in short, I doubt that.

Really hard to imagine we couldn't get a better player or deal for Willy. I would have moved KOQ first. We got older.

Our only hope is we are using the picks in a larger deal. But knowing our team, it is just hope.
