Series tied 3-3

Spoiler:
Brooklyn won game six 115-109 over Dallas in Brooklyn to force a deciding game seven on Thursday night in Dallas. The series has yet to see a road team win a game. Game six was the most entertaining game of the series as it featured 24 lead changes and 14 times tied. The Mavericks held a 7 point halftime lead which Brooklyn erased with a 27-19 third quarter giving the Nets a one point lead heading into the decisive final frame. The fourth quarter was a back and forth offensive showdown in which Victor Oladipo scored 15 of his game high 40 points. With the game tied at 97 with just under 5 minutes to play, Brooklyn went on a 10-2 run behind Trey Burke's six points, to open up a lead they would not relinquish. Joel Embiid had 23 points, 18 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 blocked shots for the Nets. Caris LeVert added 18 points and Burke scored 15 for Brooklyn. Jrue Holiday scored 32 points returning to the starting lineup for the first time since game three for the Mavericks. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 20 to go along with 15 rebounds. Bradley Beal and Trevor Ariza scored 17 apiece. The BaF Championship returns to Dallas Thursday night for the decisive final game seven.

BaF Finals-GAME SEVEN
Dallas 107 Brooklyn 93

Spoiler:
Image
Dallas wins series 4-3

Spoiler:
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 47 points to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a game seven victory and an BaF Championship. Dallas has been waiting a full year to get back to this point after losing to Milwaukee in last seasons championship series. The Greek Freak made sure that the parade would be in Dallas this year when he exploded for 18 first quarter points and 31 at halftime as Dallas opened up a 66-52 halftime lead over Brooklyn. Antetokounmpo added 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocked shots in being named BaF Finals MVP.

Brooklyn jumped out early and led 26-21 with three and a half minutes remaining in the first quarter but Dallas chipped away and ended the quarter on a 9-3 run thanks to three Jrue Holiday three pointers. Brooklyn got into some foul trouble in the second quarter and Dallas took advantage. They pulled away from the Nets with a 15-3 run just before halftime. A Trey Lyles bucket cut the Dallas lead to 14 entering the final half of basketball this season.

Trey Burke scored 15 points in the second half as he tried to keep Brooklyn within striking distance of the Mavs. But the second half was more of the same for Brooklyn. Dallas had an answer every time they made even the smallest of runs. Dallas closed the game out after Brooklyn whittled a 23 point lead to 14 with just over 4 minutes to go. Brooklyn tried to make one final push but the Maverick depth showed up as Darren Collison's three with 3:55 sealed the game and the championship for Dallas.

Joel Embiid led Brooklyn with 25 points. Burke scored 21 and Victor Oladipo scored 20 in a losing effort. Holiday scored 23, Bradley Beal scored 20 and Collison added 11 off the bench for the deeper and more balanced Mavericks. The home team won all seven games of the series.
