Mitch is all potential. We won 17 games last year, hard to claim that he had a significant impact. He's still raw and inconsistent. We just give him a pass because he was a second round pick and because he was the only positive about our team last season. But you don't know how he would perform in a situation where he's expected to perform night in and night and where the team is expected to win.

I love RJ and I believe he could be the next big thing for the Knicks but he's completely unproven. He hasn't stepped foot on the court yet. He could be a bust. I think he is but the fact is that we don't know.

Your argument for the Knicks roster rests on hypotheticals. The Clips have proven players.

Yeah. If we're comparing rosters, guys don't go somewhere for potential, Clips blow us out in the player department

If it's us, it's for the fact that we'll never be the B team in our city

I don't think KD/KL should be worried about role players they should look at which team has more upside which is clearly the Knicks.

True but the comparison is not complete without also mentioning two other major factors: 1. Tougher conference: West>>>>>>>>East 2. B team in a major market which LEBRON plays in vs an A team in the biggest market.

I agree with that, but KD is injured next year so the question for him might not be who is ready to win now so much as who will be more ready to win a year from now and with our troupe of young players getting another year of experience under their belts and our assets I think I’d pick what the Knicks have
