Thats true about young players but no way Dwight goes above 100 bucks in open market
Oh for sure, I don't think I go after Dwight in any other circumstance but I needed a vet big off my bench that should still have a decent rating AND he's expiring next year which could be a good trade chip or I just take it into the offseason and I think I can secure myself a decent player or two next year compared to this year where I would've had not as much as I anticipated after draft picks + way more people making space with money.
I was willing to take the short-term hit as far as FA choices + losing a prospect in Little for next FA.
If you dont care about young players why did you trade Middleton for young players

Well I did specific young players with decent ratings + ability to not disappear in the sim all the time. Isaac put up DPOY numbers before getting injured irl and is solid (but still a little underwhelming in sim), Fultz is a solid player so far this year for the Magic (and is good in the sim) and Jaylen obviously will get a good rating.
Like there's players I would love to get or think have good potential like Anfernee SImons or some other young guys on teams that haven't quite exploded yet but I don't think they're worth pursuing as far as losing assets if they only have a year or 2 left. Little COULD play well next year and be worth it though tbh, but a risk I was willing to take.
