Sigh......

I want Kenny Atkinson

less than 2 months into the Thibs-era and I already hate him. and this was so predictable. he hasn't changed! we all knew going in he liked his vets and he'd play them big minutes. and now he's bringing back his pal DRose who is a shell of his former self just cuz they have a pre-existing relationship

the few extra wins we have rn are not worth it IMO. I'd rather have a coach like Kenny Atkinson who can develop young talent while playing them

Can't teach an old dog new tricks. Thibs has never believed in rooks or even 2nd year players. He makes good vet teams great. He is the worst choice for a youth movement. What were the knicks thinking??

The bulls were a young team that he made great

Kenny was my clear #1 the minute he got fired in Brooklyn

Nets literally made the blueprint for what the Knicks should be doing, and the Knicks had a chance to get the same coach who rebuilt that organization....and give him more resources than he ever had to work w/ in BKN

no matter who and when. Herro, Nunn, Robinson last season. Achiuwa this season. they are a finals team and play rookies. we are 3 games under .500 and play a top 10 pick 10 minutes a game.

I've been lurking for years. I finally broke the seal because I needed to scream to some other people about the frustration I'm feeling about this franchise. They can't seem to do anything right.

The irony is that Thibs might use Quickley as a floor spacer for Rose, when we could've done that with RJ running the PNR to begin with. Just further going away from our best long-term interests.

Exactly what will happen lol.

The New York Knicks have agreed to a deal to acquire Derrick Rose from the Detroit Pistons.

The Knicks will send Dennis Smith Jr. plus a 2021 second-round pick via the Hornets to the Pistons.

The trade reunites Rose with Tom Thibodeau.

Talks between the two sides had reportedly stretched over a couple months.

It took them months to trade DSJ and a pick for Derrick Rose? Lmaoooo

Get ready for DRose getting 30+ minutes and eating up most of IQs minutes. You know it's coming.

Tyler Herro was literally the youngest player to ever start in a Finals game. He averaged 35 minutes per game against the Lakers, because Spo needed his ability to create offense and also space the floor for Butler. Nunn, an undrafted rookie, played 23 minutes per game in the Finals.

Spo is a more practical basketball mind than Thibs. Thibs is more stubborn and dogmatic. He's closer to D'Antoni in his psychology, except with a different philosophy about the game.

BugginOut wrote:I’m tired of this sh*t. F*ck the vets, f*ck these rotations and f*ck the playoffs. WE ARE A REBUILDING TEAM. We have the 4th youngest team in the league. Play our young players If we lose we lose. It’s not a bad year to be in the lottery. It’s a good draft. But what I am not trying to have us role out vet min players trying to win games when those players have no future.

The fact that RJ and Quick can’t even get 20 minutes is embarrassing. F*CK DROSE TOO. We should be keeping our assets not blowing them on one year rentals, I don’t care if it’s a 2nd round pick. This kind of dumb trade just shows that our management has no idea what they are doing.

The last couple games have shown me the direction we are going, and I am not pleased at all

Amen. No matter who comes in, it’s the same thing over and over. Sign bum ass vets to play over the young guys who should be getting all the minutes. All while ruining our pick in a good draft.

I bet the Knicks haggled Frank vs DSJr and Detroit eventually gave in.

In Brock Aller I trust.

No matter the FO or coach, it’ll always be same ol knicks. It’s our fault for expecting different.
