Knicks will have cap space for a max in 2024. FA is 2023 in weak. Doesn't seem like you know what you're talking about in that regards. Can't call the Knicks mid if they just got there.

We'll be at $100 million assuming we let Fournier walk and don't take on more awful contracts. The cap is 123.65 this year, what exactly is the cap going to be in 2024? And what will the max for the veteran star that isn't coming here be?

In 2024, the Cap space will be around 140M.

Our known payroll will be at 99M (Brunson, Grimes, RJ, Randle, Mitch, Sims) if we do not re-sign IQ and both Harts, neither 2023 or 2024 FRP. It would give us around 35M in salary cap while the Max +5years player would be at 42M.

Correct, and the 140 is based on the TV revenue but is at least close, I think 143 is the max. Assuming no CBA changes we won't have room for a "max cat".

Hart is certainly being re-signed as he's a CAA client. I-Hart is also a CAA client but he already got his 2 year guaranteed free payday.

OP doesn't know what he's talking about.

I got roughly 92 million salary in '24 offseason with Obi and IQ on qualifying offers and Sims with a team option and obviously Evan's team option. Much as I like Obi, he's not a Knick past '24, so Knicks are going to renounce if they have something in play. I don't remember, but I believe the Knicks can resign IQ after/if they sign a marquee player (might be wrong on this). If the Knicks are in the run for anyone of note, I think RJ and/or Mitch are apart of a sign and trade. The Knicks have flexibility in '24. It's no coincidence that so much salary rolls off the books in '24.

I read that Josh's contract is structured odd. I haven't looked into it, though. Josh is an expiring in '24. Is he opting out in '23 and resigning for a longer deal with smaller per year salary? Still doesn't take away from the fact that Knicks have flexibility.
