it's funny because everyone else is more excited than they've been in awhile but this year has almost cured me of this accursed fandom. i can deal with being terrible because at least there's a slight hope of drafting someone. being a perpetual 7th/8th seed (or not even) is the worst. and those teams always get torn up after a couple of wasted years like orlando and maybe indy soon. it all seems fun when you first get in the playoffs before you realize the hopelessness of the spot you're in.
