The only ones I can get to work are the "share gifs". They look like the following when you click on copy link...and paste it.

https://media.tenor.com/images/deaa31c55ed2594efe63c15aea6fef8d/tenor.gif?ctx=share

Then.... highlight it. Click img button. Submit.

For some reason other gifs don't work this way. Only the images that come up under share gifs when I Google gifs. Hope this makes sense and I hope someone can explain why other gifs don't work the same way.

This happens:

Well, some Covid stuff.

Sorry, but if you are over the age of 12 and don't have the vaccine yet, and you get really sick or die from Covid, not much sympathy from me.

Oh, I had to look over my kids info for going back to school and I noticed that they track about 20 different shots they are required to have and which are tracked in the public school database.
Or, back in the day we had the physical vaccine cards.

F*cking fools.

Young adults feel immune to covid so they don’t get vaccinated. Then they go out partying and bring it home and spread to everyone else. Yes, we’re a kind and loving society and we raise our kids right.

This entire pandemic, I was fortunate to not encounter many deniers or people affected.

My son's GF's family, or part of it, rolls a little holy and conservative, so they aren't fans.
She's vaccinated though.
Basically, she's trying to educate herself at college and acquire distance from them.
My son's going to commission in the Army and she's studying nursing, so pretty sure she sees that as the ticket out.

My daughter eventually got back to her HS retail kind of job, some of it before vaccine was available for her age, but dodged the bullet there - obviously we had her be as cautious as possible - and now she's vaccinated.
But just recently one of her friends came down with Covid. Vaccinated? Nope. And guess what? After that girl got it, her mom RAN for the vaccine. So that tells me that family, no one probably had it.

My youngest isn't eligible, by age, for the vaccine, yet the county decided we have to have full attendance. Which I was (sort of) ok with until Delta variant. Doing the school at home thing kind of sucked, but I fear Covid is going to tear ass through a middle school. Fingers crossed. Again, most people around here are compliant, so the knock on effect shouldn't be too bad, but i'm concerned about long term health implications for the younger kids, my kid especially, of course.

Other than that, most of the people in my circle are reasonable, responsible people. Oh, my aunt's BF up in NYC. Runs a little to right of center/wingnutish territory. Didn't get the vaccine. Got real sick (he'd be oldish). Still whoofs right wing sh*t on Facebook, on the brief occasions I check out what is going on with The Ministry of Disinformation.

You’re overall somewhat better off in a more Northerly locale than mine. I don’t have family here so my perceptions are from the streets here and as you would expect the more vocal people publicly are anti-vaccine. The rest get vaccinated and go about their business.

Like you, I have compassion fatigue for the unvaccinated. If you die because you’d rather push conspiracy theories or you’re too stupid to get vaccinated, then my heart does not go out to you.

New Zealand looks like the place for me now :D

I got mine because I am high risk with recently discovered pulmonary nodules in my lungs and emphysema...among other things. I am high risk and need to protect myself against the severity of Covid. Prior to that...I wasn't going to take the shots. I haven't been sick since December 2019. I was deathly ill that month and lost the month of work. I haven't been exposed to my knowledge in all of that time until last week. My daughter came home and tested positive for the Delta. I had received my first dose of Pfizer a week before. Lucky me. So far I haven't had any symptoms. I haven't left my house since. Everyone I know has been warned.

My kid... wasn't vaccinated. She was sick for like 3 days but...mostly fever and fatigue. Lost sense of taste and smell. Feels much better now. Hasn't left her room except bathroom trips since either. Told everyone she knows. Turns out it is at her job...a cardiologist office!! She's not the only one home because of it. 4 people tested positive for it...three vaccinated. Only two showed any symptoms so far.

The vaccine doesn't seem to be slowing the disease down. It is keeping the hospitals from overflowing and nursing homes from filling up with body bags.

I was in the hospital Saturday to take out some stitches and they had the elderly patients lined up outside in the hallways waiting for available rooms. Not sure if it was from Covid but it was not a pretty sight. They were all looking in pretty bad shape.

Well... I have read that the Pfizer vax is only 40% effective against Delta. I don't claim to be an expert but...the vaccine doesn't appear to be slowing things down much. Other than the value of the dollar and the economy.

I'm sure we could make up a song (sung to the tune of the Beverly Hillbillies theme song) beginning with
New Zealand is the place for me
No Covid give you life, you see...
etc.

I'm lucky to be able to work remotely and my employer is among the most enlightened about safety, especially during the pandemic. If my kids weren't already vaxxed, I'd be terrified. But they're really bright and still wear masks in venues where there's a likelihood of infection. Of course, a neighbor and her sister refused to get vaxxed, and the sister died of covid only a week after getting sick. Then the neighbor got vaxxed immediately. Two friends got it over a year ago in the spring. One died and one has survived, with long term complications.

So my feelings are screw everybody who doesn't care to protect themselves and is willing to infect others. There outta' be a law!

Just heard that the FDA has officially given full approval to the Pfizer vax. The mayor of NYC then said that all teachers, administrators, and other school employees must be fully vaxxed in order to work in the schools. Good on him.
