Yep its nonsense that he would feel he has no options - when he has about 3 or 4 options . He just needs to stop with the hero ball,stop letting the ball stick. This team especially doesn't need that and he has shown he can be a really good assist man.

Sometimes I can’t blame him bc literally the “guards” on the team keep giving it back to him. There’s no creativity in the offense.

The FO were genuinely enamored with RJ pre draft. If we got first, we would've picked Zion, which would've meant no Randle. If we got 2nd, we probably would've still picked RJ. DeAndre Hunter got picked 4th and is also better. Only way we would've won is if Ja fell to 3rd.

So yeah, we are cursed.

I wouldn’t be too worried about RJ yet. Last year he started off terribly the first few games but picked it up as the season went on.

Still he looks lost right now in the offense, and he is visibly upset. Doesn’t even look aggressive like he is afraid to make a mistake. Thibs needs to get him more involved in the action

I kinda laugh at the idea that he has no options this time around...perhaps he should help his teammates get in offensive rhythm rather than taking a humongous amount of shots himself, no?

We already have 2 backcourt defenders. They are just stuck on the bench.
