Y'all getting fooled the same way y'all thought Elfrid was a good defender.

he does allow more effective switching with his height, at least

Yeah, he's better than Kemba/Rose, but he's still not good

I know it's Trae and all, but Burks was getting toasted all game until Quick came in

I wouldn't trust him with anyone other than bench wings and lower tier starting wings.

Y’all bugging, Burks did a really solid job on Trae.

If Trae is going to hit 35 footers there is really nothing you can do about it.

If Thibs starts Kemba again I’ll laugh my azz off

Thibs isnt that stupid. bBurks just won the starting job the rest of the yesr unless IQ takes it at some point. No **** wsy does Thibs bring old ass slow Kemba back as a starter.. He shouldn't even get many minutes with how talented grimes is and the other young kids. There's only so many spots Kemba might be forced out unless Thibs is just clueless to appease him

hey dude I'm not saying you're wrong, but I think there's a good chance Thibs will start Kemba

It's time to put Kemba down like old yeller. He's washed and we clearly play better without him. Grimes looks pretty lost offensively but we really need his defense out there and Kemba isn't really giving us anything. So it's really time for him to go.

RJ had his first good game in 3 weeks! Let's hope he's figuring out how to be effective in his role

Evan's had his 3rd good game in a week! Let's hope He's figuring out how to be effective in his role.

Simms looked like an NBA player!

Obi's went from being a bust to an elite bench player.

IQ has made an impressive leap with his defense and playmaking. I think he earned to start.

Fave moments was in the 2nd quarter when all the bench kids and RJ played and dominated the Hawks.

Might have been the most fun game of the season.

Likely a steep drop for sure.

How good would CP3 make our young players look? With how well he gets them the ball in their spots and how good he sets the pace for the team

Just as the question should have been answered when it was asked 3 years ago when the majority of this boards didn't want CP3 cause he was toast, a lot better. And not just our young players, our every player...including Randle.

Nah man u wildin again lol how is he not a good defender? Lately he's been stifling, busting his ass and swarming everyone. Damn insult to mention him with elfrid. Burks been very very good lately with everything hes doing. The guy is a bucket especially when we need one

Can you blame them?...most guards are toast by his age. The majority of the board didn't want West Brook....and i'd say they definitely hit that one on the head :D

They're REALLY tough. Not a weakness on them.

Only weakness I see is that CP3 will have retire eventually....
I don't think pepple have been following the Suns. There was nothing remarkable or shameful about that loss.

CP3 isn't like "most guards". And West Brook still would have been better than Kemba Walker and Evan Fournier and folks were willing to lick Walkers balls when they signed him. So what does that say?

We have a Randle problem that’s effecting the entire team, yet folks are taking turns pointing fingers at everyone else on the team. We play better when we play faster, and when the ball moves. Randle needs to get with the program and fix his face

Maybe controversial opinion- I'm not a fan of Fournier. Was skeptical when he was signed, and still am. I think he has to score a decent amount of points to make up for how terrible he is defensively. Would rather see Grimes play over him (but it won't happen)

Burks 27 points tonight is not something that can reasonably be expected to repeat is the problem. If it was he'd have done it already in his 11 years in the league. And I'm a big fan of Burks and felt that he's the on guy the Knicks should have resigned.

I've been saying start

IQ
Burks
RJ
Randle
Obi

and I'm sticking by that. I'll keep saying it until I speak it into existence.

He made both FTs so should be good (unless there is some overnight soreness).

He didn’t finish the game cuz of Thibs, not the elbow. Thibs the only human who can stop him this season.

ANd the 3 pointer can stop him. We finished very well - whats the problem with the finish.

I don't think so. Sims will prolly get snubbed if Noel comes back but Noel has only played like 7 games all year so sims will prolly continue to develop albeit limited minutes.

Sims is good for Mitch, it'll push Mitch and give him some competition to improve his overall game with a hungry rookie vying for playing time. aalwaysa good thing.

Grimes will continue to get minutes like IQ did last season more and more, especially bc he's a defensive stud. That alone will force Thibs to play him.
