Issue is where does his playing time come from?

You really would have to sit one or possibly 2 of Precious, Deuce or Burks to get him playing time whereas if he goes to the Sixers there's a ready made slot for him.

We really liked Burkes as a Knick before he was a starter. He was a great scorer off the bench. Hopefully he brings that here which we really needed with our limited play off the bench.

i think you're misreading this trade. ab is here to replace grimes and bog is here to offer forward depth which we already lacked before both of our starting forwards were sidelined. hopefully when they come back they can play slightly less and we can preserve their health for the postseason
