Deuce is Tyrese's "Marcus Banks" (with more offense)

Gilbert Arenas said Banks always gave him problems, Banks always locked him up. Funnily, AI said the same thing too on recent Shaq's pod (27:00).

Deuce not letting go of his spot. We have players we can plug and they contribute.

Kawhi demeanor.
I will only cherish the wins and ignore everything else, because that's the only way to survive as a Knicks fan.

Yesterday Deuce provided that in the 4th when he locked up Maxey (who was torching everyone else with ease). And Deuce has several key deflections and swipes. We need that against most playoff teams.

Deuce has a wide wingspan relative to his height. He gets even shorter because he has a very committed defensive stance and gets low into his defensive squat. Nobody in the NBA squats like Deuce and that's a compliment. Sinking down gives him rooting power and the compensatory strength that allows him to hold his own against bigger players and the length to basically reach anywhere they go. Deuce is a defensive menace.

Yeah but have you seen Alec Burks dribble.

Burks by the way has zero idea how to "fit in" -- he thinks he's a PG and has no desire to spot up, and isn't reliable even if he was limited to that.

Truthfully, he should be waived.

Burks is not good at basketball other than being a streaky shooter. His decision making is terrible and seeing him in a Knicks uniform again is giving me flashbacks of Burks turnover porn. The guy is so sloppy with the ball. You can't trust him in clutch situations. Half the time he'll do something really stupid.

Over his last 10 appearances (all starts), Achiuwa has racked up four double-doubles while averaging 14.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.1 steals per game.

I love Knicks fans but damn we are fickle. We were in love with Mitch, his maturity, strength, length and presence. Then, he goes down and ppl fall in love with iHarts unique blend of power and finesse, especially his rock solid/tough defensive play in the paint and impressive passing on offense. Now, Precious plays well and ppl start insinuating that he's better than both of them. Bruh, stop pitting players against each other. All are fantastic and will fill very important roles for us.

At the end of the day, we are going to need true centers in the playoffs. That is not Precious. Precious is a 4. Mitch and iHart will fill that role extremely well. With that said, Precious will remain extremely important because, when Randle played poorly last year, Thibs simply did not trust Obi as a viable alternate option due to his atrocious rebounding, lack of interior toughness, terrible defensive mobility/lateral quickness and general lack of overall awareness.

With Precious, I think that Thibs will be much more comfortable to sub Randle out if/when he struggles and his effort/attitude take a dip. Precious fits the Thibs mold. Precious offers a stabilizing option.
