KAT’s defense at the 5 is way more detrimental than Randle’s at the 4. All of KAT’s teams at the 5 have been in the bottom of the league. That hasn’t been the case with Randle at the 4 under Thibs. KAT also playing like wcf KAT isn’t helping us offensively either.

I liked the metal bats a lot too and we’re arguably stronger on the wing than we were last year. There’s no reason that Mikal can’t replace Donte’s physically on defense. We know he’s long enough to be very disruptive. The question will be whether it will work as well without the same level of rim protection? With the Celtics being a jump shooting team the lack of rim protection shouldn't be an issue tonight but we’ll see.
