I agree. However, if you are going to bet on sports, never bet on your teams because you'll be biased. When I was betting, I made it a point not to bet on the Knicks, Mets or Jets. Too invested and I know i won't be objective

Just hope the team can stay healthy. They didn't survive the bench mins well at all. But Brunson playing so poorly didn't help at all.

Re the bench, we could use Kolek instead of Payne. Expect it at some point.

Knicks still haven't played 5 out other than a few minutes after hart got hurt.

Other than that the non spacing hart or sims or huk has been in there.

Thibs has seemingly refused to play what could be our best lineup.

This game was in the bag... I really cannot wait until we move on from Thibs. Overall, not worried. KAT needs way more touches and Garland wont have such peformances in the playoffs.

I agree...regardless of the fact that they didnt look in sync the entire night. If they won -it would have been because they willed the win. They still have a long way to go with locking in on chemistry and identity...

the one saving grace we have is mitch might come back with some adamantium implants in his legs or something and save us

lol no coach wants the opposition to get better. He low key knows there’s a lot of potential with our group and would be a nightmare matchup if we can figure it out. He obviously prefers our old style which is a lot easier to game plan against

we're not Giannis and Dame...We're Brunson, Kat, Hart, Mikal and OG plus Deuce, Huk, Payne and Mitch and Precious...

Pretty sure I heard this stat on a KFS pod after the trade happened and I think Randle was top 5 in creating corner 3’s last year even though he basically played half a season. I don’t have the stats for how many 3’s Ihart created last year but I’d imagine it was a decent amount from all the hand off actions we had when he started. Maybe we can’t replace Julius corner kick outs but we should be able to do ihart hand offs. Towns has shown he can make some nice passes finding cutters but we really haven’t used him in those same hand of actions that were so successful last year. Thibs changed the offense a lot last years after all the trades and injuries happened I know he’ll be able it out but it’s look pretty clunky right now.

feels like Thibs just has no idea how to use Kat and make no mistake about it, he benched Kat twice this game in favor of huk. it wasn't to get Kat a breather, he didn't like how Kat was defending and preferred a traditional big.

For Kat to have an impact he has to be producing on offense. it should not be very complicated either. stop the freelancing and install set plays in the offense. unfortunately we've seen Thibs offense for years so i'm not holding my breath.

just pay attention to any out of bounds or after timeout plays and the success rates. we don't run actual plays.

He does play drive and kick a lot, which is also the only way of creating Randle does.

He doesn't do it as well because he doesn't drag the help defence as much as Randle did. KAT right now is being forced i tot he Randle role without being suited for it becauae they basically had their training camp ready and like the soap operas the part of Julius Randle is now being played by Karl Anthony Towns instead of having a real role foe Karl Anthony Towns.

Thibs offence is get into position, get the ball and do something with it. That isn't KAT. And we might need til All Star brrak to change because NBA teams don't practice like that once the seaosn starts.
