The phrase 'on the floor together' gets lost in the dramatic difference between the numbers because it looks like they are playing twice as much as any other team as a whole, but it's together as a 5 man unit.

The moment The Timberwolves acquired Gobert was when they showed they didn't believe in KAT to hit this level of impact at the 5. Must feel good for KAT to show them they chose wrong.

Kat had plenty of stretches where he played this well in Minny. He also has plenty of stretches where he doesn't play so well. He isn't all of the sudden a different player. Like most players in the NBA, he has hot stretches and cold ones.

I have to disagree a bit here. It's not that KAT doesn't have cold stretches but his cold stretches are generally like 19 points and 8 rebound games. His floor is basically a all-star caliber player. Now he has had full on issues where he has been terrible on defense, particularly in certain schemes like drop. He also has had a lot of playoffs woes where he has actually had horrible games. In the regular season though, its very rare for him to have a cold stretch of any significance. I really don't think I have ever seen him have a flat out bad two 5 games stretch or anything like that.

For sure. He has been great. What's crazy though is it seems like every game we have a player have an exceptional night without standing out. It's usually Kat. It feels like he has been invisible then ill look at the boxscore and it's a wildly efficient 20/10 game.

i mentioned a few game threads ago that the trainer we got from the mavs might be the unsung mvp of the season so far. we haven’t really suffered any devastating injuries to this point even with the mines thibs taxes the players with, hopefully the trend continues to hold up

TyKo plays 40 mins earlier today in an OT game with Westy Knicks then 12 mins with the Knicks tonight so he played a total of 52mins in one day...Thibs right now being interrogated by the mins police for trying to murder the kid.
