Make it bold can’t see too small. Nope didn’t believe in Brunson, never had reason to based on past track records. Always said needed to see it before buying in. Been right too many times to care about being wrong about Brunson. Another credit to Thibs for turning him into a star player, he never was one until he got to New York. I still have my reservations about how far you can go with him because of how terrible he is defensively and his overall style of dominating the ball and not being able to do certain things under a pressing defense. Still I’m happy to have him now because we’ve had way too many terrible PGs in the past.

But you are still deflecting and running from the actual convo right now which only shows defeat. It’s your coping mechanism and I got you to this point. 8-)

Bro, on everything, I'm not reading none of this. The second you asked me how to interpret net rating was when all serious discussion between us ended, and you posting more than 1 sentence to me gets left on unread. You may as well just quote me in the sh*tpost thread above from now on

I can’t… bro said Thibs turned him into a star, as if Jalen didn’t cook in the western playoffs when Luka went out, then said he has reservations about Jalen, when JB dropped 40 straight in 4 straight playoff games last season, something only done last by MICHAEL JORDAN

Can’t make this stuff up bro

His Brunson takes were hilarious, dude said Brunson and IHart was a "meh" offseason, and Anfernee Simons was better

Bro, my blood pressure raises each post game thread reading some posts man
If my BP raises even more, It’ll be roughly Josh Hart minutes

You said they played their season’s average, they didn’t

Even the starters minutes showed a significant decrease. The average minutes per game for the starters on the year according to stat muse is:
KAT - 34.9
OG - 36.7
Hart - 37.9
Brunson - 35.5
Mikal - 38.5

Tonight the starters played minute wise
KAT - 33
OG - 34
Hart - 27
Brunson - 25
Mikal - 34

These 2-4 minute decreases for KAT, OG and Mikal seem small to you, but had they averaged just two less minutes per game this season each, this would equate to 1600 total minutes over the course of the season total for all 3 of them. Guess how many games extra that is? 533 extra minutes saved per player, meaning roughly 16 more games if each player plays 33 minutes per game. What’s 16 more games??? THE PLAYOFFS. THESE SMALL MINUTE INCREMENTS MATTER BY PLAYING THE BENCH

Now let me not get started on Brunson and hart, they were able to SIGNIFICANTLY decrease their minutes tonight. The point is 2-4 minute increase in each bench players’ time actually matters in the long run.

I can’t break it down any better than I just did.

Brunson's minutes only limited because the refs put him in foul trouble
Harts only limited because he was hurt coming into the game.
Thibs will go back to same minutes next game

Key to victories then
JB gets into foul trouble
Hart has a little more hurting

The players know Thibs won't rest them. They take matters into their own hands

You know we won by 37, right?

Why? Why did we win by 37? And not 27, or 17, or 7????… BECAUSE WE PLAYED THE BENCH MORE, who added on to the starters’ leads, then brought the starters back, who added on to the bench’s lead :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Oh that’s why we won by 37? Damnit Thibs all you had to do was play Precious 20 minutes per game instead of 19 and play Deuce 24 minutes per game instead of 23 and we would have been winning by 30+. Great analysis I can see the head banging really has worked out great for you

It’s simple adjustments we’ve asked Thibs for
1. Play starters less minutes
2. Let the bench play more, it will help us in the long run
3. Show more offensive creativity, we have an arsenal of players ready to unleash other than Brunson

When Thibs’ finally starts to do these things
Thibs enthusiasts: His geniusness is bringing out the best in all players! The team finally bought in!

Damn….

Had he been playing the bench more over the course of 40+ games this season, we could have actually developed the bench, and even with Precious and shamet out, can you imagine if he had played Kolek and Huk more? Where their development would have been now 40+ games later?

Maybe you should do some analysis too other than spewing random words and actually, ya know, back it up with stats? Statmuse is great search engine you could try, had we listened to your analysis we would have signed Anfernee Simmons over JB

I been literally only asking for this and stagger Mikal and Brunson instead of Brunson and Hart. Both adjustments has this team looking like contenders.

I've been consistent. My issue with Thibs is that he takes way too long to make obvious adjustments.

We’re only one game Boston for the no. 2 seed and you all want to fire Thibs. :noway:

Exactly, staggering the JB and Mikal minutes is huge, especially with Deuce being a streaky shot creator, along with Cam..
With either JB or Mikal in there with them at all times, it allows a definite ball handler and shot creator while they’re on the court

I also want to add that it's finally consistency in the rotations, this allows bench players to catch a rhythm instead of just being thrown out there whenever.

Actually above all else, are you able to understand stats and comprehend what I typed out? Or is it too many words? Serious questions

Every January something happens to push us to contender status overnight. Last season it was the trade. This season it was that magical 4 days off.

Hope this can continue and thibs has had a wake up call
