Thibs has a Ferrari, but drives it like it’s a CRV.

I just can’t for the life of me understand why he refuses to make adjustments. He has a guy that can shoot, but doesn’t draw up plays to maximize those abilities. Kat only had four 3 pt attempts, and the ones he got up, were not in the flow of a competent offense.

They also wasted an OG masterclass. He had the stroke tonight and the lack of normal play calling was absolute bull.

The team lacks shot creators. It’s really just Brunson and sometimes Bridges.

mcbride being a complete zero offensively has really hurt. I think they felt more comfortable with that 2 for 1 deal because they thought McBride was ready for a bigger role especially coming off the playoffs he had...but he looks shook out there.

Because not everyone can play standing around waiting to see what happens next. There's no rhythm. There's no rhyme nor reason for anything that goes on out there AT ALL. EVER! It hurts the bench with their limited minutes that are as inconsistent as it has ever been. It hurts the entire team.

Thibs being fired today...I would like our chances better. You don't need a HC who doesn't even coach AT ALL.

Detroit sucks. We are Detroit. Great times. We sold the farm to be the Pistons and we can't even beat them.

Shot creation and basic play calling.

Never. I'm so mentally exhausted with the same set over and over and over again.

The man has no answers on how to get by the Duren on Hart defense, it has completely stumped him because he doesn't run PnR much. The obvious way would be to pull Hart, so that Duren guards Mitch, you use Mitch and KAT to set screens for Brunson because now the C is finally out of the lane defending another C that he simply cannot abandon and Mitch can rebound over whichever defender catches him on the roll.

It doesn’t help when we have a coach that fails time after time to maximize the talent on this team.

Like I can’t for the life of me understand why he doesn’t spam the pick and roll game with Kat, especially when he has Duren guarding him.

Or how he doesn’t draw up plays to get Kat more 3
pt attempts.

75 percent of their offensive possessions are a complete struggle.

What could we have done differently in the last 2 minutes that would have decided the game?

Bummer that we wasted a really good game from Mitch. It would have been legacy defining for him.

We blew the game well before OG's three. Before the injuries too. Refs were bad to start the third but the offense was terrible too. Too slow too many isos. Bridges a couple of middies but otherwise invisible until the late three. Deuce still struggling. Mitch had some big plays but also failed to grab the ball several times.

The slow disorganized offense is painful to watch. And the same patterns keep repeating, bad starts to the third quarter especially.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

The team lacks an actual offensive game plan. How are you creating shots for others with no one moving around except for the guy with the ball? There's no offense to create something out of. Four guys standing around waiting for a random pass. That's our offense in n it's entirety.

This should have been closed out tonight. We always have to make everything difficult for ourselves.

OG made the hardest three of the game at the end with Cade right up on him

OG looked pissed to me right afterwards, which made me wonder if he was mad about the fact he didn't get touches in the 4th quarter, and still manages to hit one of the most clutch threes I've ever seen

new rule how isn't goaltending automatically reviewed just like they go back and switch a 2 to a 3 if the feet are on the 3 pt line.

like it shouldnt have to be a challenge no challenge. Its not subjective...its either goaltending or not.

next stoppage they should review it.

Thibs, JB, KAT, and Deuce should apologize to the fans and provide a full refund to all of them.

Don’t think you can say the talent is so great if Bridges sucks and KAT doesn’t have a fixed role in the offense

Just a bunch of guys who have had good offensive stats at various points

When you take a hard look at Bridges, what’s his true track record? Many guys have had a couple of years that were good but didn’t keep it up

Likely there’s not much there that’s actually ever gonna pay off … some guys have a couple nice seasons and then fade away

I agree… I’m assuming you’re referring to the one Thompson got on Bridges? I’ll let the refs slide because that was very close but the replay clearly shows it was goal tending

This entire team plays better with a different HC. THAT'S the problem.
