I'm actually being pragmatic (at least trying and possibly failing). I don't want them to shut it down altogether because some morons took it too far. Some of them are clearly trying to go viral by taking it up a notch. Hopefully it doesn't go too far so we can continue to celebrate en masse outside MSG.

I mean they are playing Thomas Bryant and Obi Toppin off the bench. I think playing Precious a couple minutes here and there and mixing in Delon Wright wouldn't be a bad idea. Both defend well, play generally tough and can sometimes make a couple baskets...everyone is saying "Pacers are deep" and stuff but if you actually look at it, their 8-10 guys really aren't better than ours, they just get the opportunity to play really.

Like their starters + Mathurin and McConnell as prime bench players.
We have our 5 starters + Deuce and Mitchy as prime bench players.

Then I actually like our 8-10 guys even more than theirs really but ours simply don't play.

delon wright, sure. shamet is really bad though and like 2 hot streaks from 3 in the regular season don't change that

Shamet pretty much played mostly on pretty good teams that made the playoffs as first seed or second seed or 4th seed and he played regularly and solid minutes in the playoffs...like around 20minutes....really the reason knick fans think he sucks is because he never got consistant playing time...if Shamet was on the Pacers we would be saying "We gotta look out for Shamet not going 4-4 from 3 on us and shooting us out of a game. Wish we had a shooter like that." Shamet is solid enough as a 8th man. He can shoot and plays hard.

I love the videos of the celebration around MSG and I'm proud we're the most passionate fanbase, but I'm always skeptical of the mob mentality that some of the weaker people can fall into.

It was stupid of that Pacers fan to provoke a crowd by wearing a Haliburton jersey on a night where the Pacers weren't even playing. Nothing positive was ever going to come out of it. But to physically touch the guy, or that young Celtics fan after game 4, is weak and dangerous. It also sets a terrible precedent for Knicks fans wearing their jersey at away games. And Windhorst is a respectable journalist - teasing him is fine but invading his space just to go viral and get the validation from the wider fanbase is lame.

The younger wing of the fanbase has always had a Red Guard component to it, from stomping on Randle's poster, to trying to silence the RJ critics online (including the KFS staff pressuring Macri on his own platform) and some of the extreme behavior we have seen recently.

It's only a minority, but I hope this minority doesn't take it too far and ruin the party for everyone else.

I'm all for celebrating in crowds as long as there is no destruction of property or danger to human life. Animal life should be added too.

I'd say Turner is even with KAT or better and Brunson and Hali are not comparable.

It's a close call between KAT and Turner but if KAT is aggressive on offense I give him the edge. Turner is really limited on offense outside shooting open jumpshots. For me the rebounding difference between them is just too big to give Turner the edge. Turner gets you 6-7 rebounds, KAT gives you like twice as much and rebounding IMO is a very big part of the game.
