His agenda is transparent, and it also involves mentioning stuff from like a decade ago as to why something today won't work. All people want from Wright is his defense, just get over screens and make the Pacers offense work a little harder  Nobody is expecting a scoring outburts from him, just defense and effort so that our starters don't have to play every minute. Anything else he gives us is just....gravy 8-)

At this point are we sure gravy isnt meLo... I mean think about it gravy and meLo it just makes too much sense.

Choosing Delon Wright over IQ or Donte is nasty work. What are we even talking about lol

IQ averaged 7.8ppg on 33% shooting in the playoffs, he is now making more than Brunson while apparently being unable to stay healthy. Donte couldn't guard anyone on the Pacers last year, it was free lunch. Please explain to me in detail how we'd fit IQ & Donte's salaries onto our bench now too.

I'll take the guys on vet minimums that helped us win a critical game over two guys that aren't here anymore. I imagine some of yall have restraining orders from exs, simply cannot move on.

We need to attack Nesmith and really test out that ankle. Hunt him and see how he’s moving

Wright and Shamet make $2.0/1.3 million each, what the hell are you expecting off the bench for that? And why even criticize them after they gave quality minutes. Some of these dudes don't deserve to see us win.

I'm only comparing their skill. It would be nice if Delon could do more than hand the ball to KAT but thats the new bar for bench players here.

I know you think it's cute to **** on our bench but Wright's turnover rate is really low.

Its low when you dont do much, I appreciate him knowing his limitations and not forcing it. I think a championship team should have higher talent level.

They're replacing Payne in the rotation, who has been awful, not sure why anyone would object to even seeing if they could do a better job. Nah, it's better we just stick with Cam and pretend nobody else can help us.

Sometimes it’s way better to have a guy who knows his role and limitations and simply hustles and defends his azz off while getting the ball to KAT instead of having a guy who keeps looking for his own three ball chucks time and again…

Listen, I really do agree. I'm saying Cam Payne is so bad that 'guy who does nothing' is actually better  Yay bench!

Otherwise, I'll have the same familiar palpitations.

Yeah if he just reverts back to what wasn't working, I give up all hope.

Ngl, idgaf about iq or any of this. Im struggling to function with all these nerves about this upcoming game. Its swinging from dread, worried we're going to get blown out, to unhinged excitement thinking about leveling this series.

Also don't miss rotations.

Read on Twitter

we can't be having these type of possessions when we can run the offense through Brunson/KAT or even Mikal/Deuce/OG at certain pts.

But Cam Payne was lost on defense at critical times. Wright doesn't blow rotations like that and he is aware and has the ability to switch with his size.

If they stick to a gameplan and execute it well, and don’t have coaching mistakes, they could lose tonight and still win three in a row, two at home.

I mean, he's not looking for his but he's still been lead guard in the offense for almost all of his minutes with us. Protecting the ball vs. "tripping over his own feet" is actually one of his strengths and it specifically addresses one of the weaknesses we've had this series. Pacers have been murdering us with the press.

Those kinda defensive mishaps aren't even excusable for someone with an offensive bag like kat. The fact that its Cam Payne doing it is crazy.

I know thibs loves him a small combo guard who gets buckets. But its criminal how long he stuck with the cam Payne experience

Rather not test that

Tonight feels like a must win. Would put a whole lotta pressure back on them.
