Watching Tatum drop 50 on a healthy Nets team was unreal. He’s the closest thing to KD. The exact player we need. Hopefully Brad Stevens hires Lloyd pierce or jason kidd and makes him request a trade

Re: Around The NBA - Round 2 - New Thread!!!
That Giannis turnaround jumpshot with 1:30 to go and Harden guarding him in the post was the turning point.
It was the perfect illustration of his inability to live up to the moment. He faded away from the moment a few feet away from the basket by attempting a shot he's not skilled enough to make. He just doesn't have it in him.
I think I'll remember this turnaround jumpshot as Giannis's iconic career play tbh.

Boston would never trade Tatum to the knicks unfortunately

Giannis becoming one of those classic playoff chokers.
Perhaps the greatest of all as a two-time MVP.

They're not mentally tough. Adding Holiday only made them worse in that aspect.
they needed a bucket getter - they would have been better with Jordan Clarkson than Jrue
They needed both to be honest and likely another big man superglue guy because the teams that get to the finals also have a depth of impact contributors in addition to the stars in these games.
Although, it may not matter much what the bench can do if the top 3 players on the team make mistakes late when the game is on the line.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.
?

Yeah, that is what is admirable with guys like Dray. He prides his D so much he would proactively seek ways to have the opportunity to defend the other teams' best scorer.

Re: Around The NBA - Round 2 - New Thread!!!
Let's not kid ourselves, Thibs would be playing
Claxton at the 5
Blake at the 4
Durant at the 3 with no spacing
Harris at the 2
Kyrie at the 1
With Harden as the 6th man
The Nets would be down against this Bucks team if Thibs were coaching them.

Just a brutal decision there by Giannis…
Game altering play
He took that fadeaway like it was the 1st quarter of an exhibition game. Staggering.
I admittedly don’t watch a lot of non-Knicks basketball, but almost every time I watch Giannis, I come away underwhelmed. It’s shocking to me that a two time MVP could have such glaring flaws in his game. Maybe I’ve watched him on the wrong nights, but I’m less interested in what you do to against Kings on a Wednesday in February than against the Nets in the playoffs in a 2-2 series.
