i called this. may god have mercy on our souls.

- If Melo is not available in the summer, he think the team goes after Tyson Chandler, DeAndre Jordan and Marc Gasol. He expects that all will remain with their current team however. He wonders if Crawford would be a good fit to backup PG and SG.

and this may be the proof i needed to finally know that there is no god. if this happens, screw you god.

I tought I read somewhere that the Rockets could buy Jeffries out. If so then it may not be such a bad thing. Jeffries on a minimum would help especially come playoff time with his defense and hustle. And, assuming that the trade happens the Knicks will be scoring the waiver wire for additions.

My cousin Peter was the Newsday Knick beat writer 40 years ago, during the Knicks' 2nd championship year. I wonder if Hahn ever covered a winning team?

How about this trade.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=4vyyhwz
Plus the Knicks get the rights to Ricky Rubio and a Minnesota first rounder goes to the Nuggets.

Minnesota says thank you for making us a better team with a decent PG and I think Randolph can be similiar to Beasley if he tries, but hey no promises.

The Nuggets rebuild with Beasley and Chandler while shedding a ton of salary next year. Ty Lawsons pretty much ready to run Denver's offense and I don't think Billups will mind being on a legitimate contender no matter what he says in the news.

The knicks get a year to see if Rubio's any good before grabbing Paul/D.Will in 2012. We get a backup pg and then knicks pick up Ewing jr to fill out the roster and aren't we all just one big happy family now.

Personally I don't think Feltons an All Star. He was a serious upgrade from duhon, but seriously who wouldn't be and even Duhon had a respectable assist average under D'antoni.

You could definitely tweak a few of the pieces, maybe Denver wants a different brewer, but this basically works and isn't terrible. What do you think?

He went from covering the Islanders to the Isiah Knicks. It's been a long sad ride for him.

Is packing considered a personal reason?

There's a quote from Alan Hahn I believe that says that teams are reluctant to make moves because they want to be a part of the 3-team deal.

We just need Eddy, Wilson and Anthony to all be out on the same day.

We need Sloan and Melo here on the same day. We as Knick fans have suffered long enough. That 2-for-1 package would make me happy.
