I was using that as an example of how they could get Melo without moving Love, could be Dick Jeff and Shump, could be Frye and Liggins, just an example

Being a knick fan I dont see how he can help any of those teams. Its kind of sad we know he will slow those teams offensive flow. He will never be Olympic Melo.

Boston could take him and then trade him in the off-season if Gordon will sign with them. They could use a pick if they have to, but really there will be teams with cap room who want him. I'm not sure if his NTC would survive.

We have to get a 3rd team involved thats all there is too it. Even if Melo can net us a top 10 pick we gotta take that.

Imma go on a limb here and say Melo goes nowhere til summer at the earliest. Too big a move for mid season; family upheaval, less suitors likely to bid. But I could also see him getting the AA treatment and being benched. And if that were to happen I could see this surpassing Marbs/Larry/Zeke in terms of dysfunction.

No, this would give us more leverage, cause now we can go to Cleveland and say Boston wants him, or to Boston and say LA wants him, play them off each other like that
