He beat Jokic down the court too. It's pretty impressive. Just think what he might accomplish with a PG who feeds him like Jokic did in the Rising Stars game.

Hayward beat him down the court the first time then KP wisely sealed Hayward off long enough to get the lead.

Adam Reisinger
ESPN.com

For the second straight year, the big men beat the guards, as Kristaps Porzingis bests Gordon Hayward in the final round of the Taco Bell Skills Challenge. Porzingis is the first Knicks player to win an All-Star Saturday event since Landry Fields was part of the winning Shooting Stars team in 2012.

i don't see why KP can't develop a playing style more like jokic's once he gets a little stronger. he's obviously skilled enough and even more athletic - just needs to be more of a focal point and stop playing like a supersized 2-guard and he'll be there. also needs a more team-oriented offensive scheme, but that's another debate for another thread....

This win is just another addition to the uniporn collection.

Anyone else miss these jerseys?

I love and miss the bold letters, and the general presence of blue. The thick blue trim. They would look sick out on the new court.

These retro-ish jerseys of late have a stench to them now. Tired of them.

Did Berman really have that as the original title of his article and changed it to "Kristaps Porzingis ensures the Knicks have a champ this year"?

Looks like it. The link title still shows that but he doesn't mention cheating anywhere in the article.
