Knicks could have traded down from 3 and gotten a guy who can actually shoot and another player. But no.

Dude... wth did you just say?

How did an NBA Franchise watch Kentucky and decide Kevin Knox was a better pick than SGA on that team?

That RJ can't shoot. Which he can't. Not yet.

I interpreted that as forget a top 3 pick and just get a shooter.

I'm test posting some trolling for when RJ struggles.

That's what happens when Steve Mills is running a draft.

Scott Perry doesn't have a great draft record himself.

I really wanted SGA in that draft too.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

KP with a nice pull-up. On any given play, he can look great. He does look like he improved some on that type of shot. And his 3 looks more compact. Doesn't really look stronger but he's playing more actively than I recall on some occasions with the Knicks. He missed more shots than he made after a hot start.

Obviously, its just a first glance, he played like what, 7 minutes? But he looks a little bit slower, which could be an issue.

But again, its just a first impression, could be completely off.

He really is fluid for such length but he's not exactly fleet of foot either. He made a very smooth pull-up that pretty much no guy his height could do ever. But then again, he couldn't take it all the way in if he had to. And he's not super accurate with the J. It's not awkward at all but it's not that natural a shot.

Again feels like 7-0 and more skill (yep his predecessor) would be better ... UNLESS he's a monster on D and I think that's his pathway. 18 PPG and great D would be more than plenty. I don't see him as a top scorer at all. Not at a very tough to stop in last 2 minutes ... probably not ever.

Short answer: He looks same speed wise. But that is not bad. It's just that he's fluid and not that quick either.

Luka needs to stop taking those terrible step back 3's. I still don't get all the hype for him. He's like a glorified Nicolas Batum to me.

KP looks like the same ol KP to me. Good but not great

Just rewatched the game and Mook was hot and tried to bring the ball up but Payton demanded it. Then shouted “you got it Mook” then proceeded to give it to him for his heat check.

Then again SGA was a throw-in on a much larger trade. Which I personally think would have gotten done without him, the definition of a throw-in in that way.

I'm high on Knox tho.

Yea I don’t see a ultra high ceiling with him. He has a very good floor tho. And KP is what id always thought he’d be. A good 2nd 3rd guy. Only want him catching and shooting or taking advantage of a mismatch. Use to cringe when he tried to whip out his handles here lol.

They both gunna be low 20s scorers. That’s not enough in the west where teams got 2-3 guys who can go get 25.

Whoah. Yes Inefficient to some extent. Maybe that won't go away either. But just a natural baller. The dribble between the legs. Maybe he'll be more Jason Williams than Bron.

Sort of the same. Made shots that were nice and fluid (that's my word) but also nothing too wow. Did the same weak job on the O boards. He's a non-entity on the offensive glass which is notable for a guy that tall.
