This is wrong. The expectation was clearly to be better than last year and restore some respectability.

Sorry, I have no faith in the FO that scouted Kentucky for a year and decided that Kevin Knox was the team’s best prospect on a team featuring SGA that carried them into the tournament.

Or a team that thought spending over 100 million on veterans looking for their stats on 1 year deals was a genius idea when the young kids need to develop.

Or that this was the 2nd year in a row they thought this, even though it failed spectacularly the year before.

Or that they thought Julius was so much better than the rest of the trash they brought in that he gets an additional guaranteed year.

not if the new coach is mike miller.

Miller is the play.

Mills will say it's part of "development" that is happening in the G-League, but of the coach.

"Yes, we made a mistake with Fizdale. We thought he would attract FA's. That didn't work out and he's not the right coach for further development, but Mike Miller is, working with the G-Leaguers, and a G-League coach of the year. Miller and a couple more seasons and the youth will develop."

Buys Mills 2 more years and X millions and more stocks or properties or bonds or whatever he's into holding this job for.

The restoring respectability ship left the port many many seasons ago. If Kyrie and KD giving the Knicks the Heisman (like I get from all the ladies SMH) wasn't a sign...not sure what the Knicks are expecting.

At this point, it's accumulate as many draft picks as possible and go from there. It ain't like players want to come to the Knicks willingly - Unless you happen to be a tweener and play the 4 spot.

Perry doesn't seem terrible but Mills needs to go. He's officially hit Isiah/Phil territory.

I follow the NBA as a whole. I live in Toronto. The Raptors are your 2018 NBA Champions. I am East Asian.

Loved watching the Knicks as a toddler/youngstaaaaaa before the Raptors.

Furthermore, I follow the New Orleans Saints/Oakland Raiiiidaaaaaass, Toronto Maple Leafs, Manchester United/Juventus.

Any other questions kind Sir/Madam?

pressured for what? they gave him this team? this is their team. fiz is ass, but he isn't going to turn dog **** into wine.

Agreed that this is just as much their fault. I still don’t think Fizdale is getting the most out of this roster though. We need to play small /quicker lineups (put Randle on the bench), stop letting the forwards handle the ball so much, and make the bigs actually connect on their “screens”

As bad as Fizdale is, Pills needs to go first. Wtf is this roster? We signed a bunch of mediocre, hothead malcontents(Besides Gibson) to short term deals for a ton of money relative to their talent. Why do that, what the **** was the point? They should have just let all the kids play, take on bad contracts for assets, maybe sign a couple of guys who are diamonds in the rough and give them a shot to develop. Instead we spend a ton of money on mediocre vets. Why sign Portis, Randle, Gibson, Ellington, Bullock, Morris when they have no future here and are going to take away time from guys like Robinson, Knox, Trier, Dodson, etc, and will prevent guys like Iggy and Rabb from ever seeing the floor at all. It's so stupid. Literally any random fan, including kids in high school or even grade school, could do a better job constructing a roster than Pills and I'm not even kidding about that.

nah, he's bad too. his big contribution seems to be to bring guys here who he had in other places. and all those guys suck.

he's also known as the guy who convinced the kings to sign a bunch old vets to play with the kids. vets who sucked. sound familiar ?
