Randle is here for the next 3 years and you’ll like it

Oh, you don't think have faith that Mills and Perry will pull off a trade for a haul given Randle's soaring present market value?

Most realistic options are actually lateral. I hope there’s a real plan here.

Unless it’s a package for KAT that don’t include Mitch or this years draft pick then it isn’t worth it

I don't get why people want to trade Randle. Unless we getting KAT just keep Randle. Randle is 25 years old, one year older than Brickstaps and is putting up great numbers under Mike Miller. Why not keep him and appreciate him for who he is. We've always wished we had a young stud like Randle and now that we have him people are quick to say "Trade him for picks" only to hope to draft a player like Randle. Makes no sense to me.

We all got shook from his play under Fiz.

I guess people want him on a rookie deal. They also expect every draft pick to be ROY/All Star level from day 1.
If we had drafted Randle...I bet the narrative would be different.

I'm okay with Randle being here and see where it goes. I'll wait until the next trade deadline to go through with it since the 3rd year is an option year.

Not to mention he gets better every year. People just have a bad taste in their mouth from how he was playing under Fiz

I wonder where all the people are who laughed at the Knicks and Scott Perry for going with Randle as plan b after not signing KD and Kyrie. At least Randle is looking good on his team while KD and Kyrie continue to collect checks for doing nothing but sit on the bench in their street clothes.

Luka to dump KP's contract.
Maybe if Luka demands a trade or something in the future.

It’s funny how Randle went from looking like Clarence Weatherspoon to looking like Larry Johnson in a matter of 3 weeks.

Currency of hope. Some folks just like the idea of some unknown draft superstar. Those same folks definitely play scratch off lotteries.

Re: Official trade Julius Randle thread
Like I've said before, it's about fitting a players game into the system and the system to the players game instead of expecting the player to elevate the team in spite of the system. People keep wanting their teams best player to be Lebron James (you do, you do, deny it all you want) and look to crucify them when they cant be Lebron James, instead of realizing that for 99.44% of the players in the NBA need help from the team to even be what they can be which certainly is not close to being another Lebron James.
Randle is the player he can be nowadays cause Miller has the team (which includes Randle) playing in a way that maximizes Randles (and the rest of the players) strengths and hides the weaknesses. Randle is still not Lebron James and the Knicks still are limited in how good of a team they are, but at least now the players they do have seem to getting the most of what they can realistically do (which again, is not Lebron James or top tier teams level of play). That's the goal and measure of a good head coach.
Randle is an extremely talented but flawed player but that's ok as long as you maximize what he can do and minimize what he cant do in terms of what the team needs from him to be successful. It's the job of the front office to build great teams, not their players. That means not exiling him to Siberia or demanding he get neutered because hes not a perfect player like Lebron James (like they've done with every "best player" on the Knicks since Lebron James first entered the league).
