Why not? There's been a few other rumors from the Suns local beat writers, that they're trying to get out of Oubre's salary and willing to use the 10th pick to do it. We saw how great the Suns were in the bubble, adding Paul might have them Western conference finals bound. They've pretty much been rebuilding since they sent Nash out of town and maybe the owner wants to make the playoffs? I think it be more reasonable to question why the thunder would do this, not the Suns.

I would def do it if I were them. You get rid of the bad cp3 contract for a younger better PG in Rubio, and you get a 1st and a 2nd for it.

That Suns trade makes sense for everyone. The Thunder might not even tail off that much.

Edit: I suppose it is a little much for the Suns.

Basic knocks against Hampton: Loose handles makes it questionable that he can handle the point in the NBA, lacks ability to create shots off the dribble, doesn't shoot from 3, questionable intensity and inconsistent motor.

Basic pluses for Hampton: Hyped HS player, nice NBA athleticism, potential to play both back court positions, can finish, solid mid range game, some defensive upside and versatility.

I have seen comparisons to guys like Wil Barton (pretty good NBA player) and Dante Exum (kinda a flub).

Who do you NOT want the knicks to pick at 8?
