Yup, IQ and Burks are getting featured heavy which has destroyed our free flowing bench offense. Obi and Rose have basically been phased out of the offense as a result which means next to no transition points

Kenny Payne and the Knicks video crew needs to put together a reel and then Kenny Payne and Randle need to have some heart to heart talks about how to play the right way, again.

What we saw tonight is him being on the ball more in 1 game than we saw all last year, we saw shot creation for himself and others, the offense simply ran better when he was setting people up. He's profiling as a two way wing that can create offense, that is essentially the most valuable player type there is in the NBA. Enough trying to move him in hypothetical deals, lets see what he can turn into if we focus on getting him the ball more to create.

The thing about RJ that I noticed in the preseason was his passing. His shooting was a bit off and he wasn't getting the same number of shots (due to the presence of Fournier and Walker). But he was making lots of plays for his teammates.

Well, at lot of posters are on the "Randle sucks" train the last two games, so he's about to reassert himself.

Burks might go for 40

we need all that curse power!

This board is stronger then we might think!

Ja Morant 7-18 (1-4) and blown out. Turns away and whistles.

His PnR stats from the playoffs were excellent, he had solid regular season numbers in the play as well, we just never run it for him. There's always been flashes, he's just a good passer because he's willing to make the pass if it leads to the next pass, nobody else on the team does that, he doesn't need to get the assist to move the ball.

You have to admit the driving often and with confidence in the half court is new.

And we'll take it.

an actual spaced floor with threats from 3...who would have guessed that would open up RJ's game with him not playing nearly 80% of his NBA minutes with Elfrid Payton?

The driving often isn't new.

The finishing at the rim at 62%+ is new

looks like RJ worked out the kinks on his pull up and off the bounce shots. Happy to see him finishing layups in different ways and he seems to have that push shot down more. Hopefully he can keep it up. Liked the turnaround fade he took that went in and out. He tried a few of those last year.

He’s got the tools in his bag. Still think he needs to keep tightening his handle. I think we’ll see more of these type of outburst this year. And next year he’ll truly take off as an all star two way wing

the pass to Taj for the dunk might have been the best play of the entire night.

When you have it cooking to still make the right basketball play tells me a lot about a player.

Before anyone goes crazy and says I'm comparing them...im not.

But he runs the P&R in a similar style like Luka does. Not skill wise but the way he slow plays the P&R and contorts his body and uses his strength to fend off the trailing defender. He runs it at his own pace and is successful.

Gonna be real interesting to see how many nights Julius gets outscored by one of his teammates. Starting to look like it might be a regular thing.

Playing WINNING basketball, that's all that counts. The League knows the Knicks don't have a "Superstar", but what they do have is a SQUAD.

Winning is all that matters.
