F the tank if the yoots are the ones leading the way like this.

We have no control over anything anyway so just enjoy the little things as a Knick fan, and keep hope alive that the basketball gods will reward our long time suffering one day. ONE DAY YA HEAR.

Yep. No one complains if we get 30 wins b/c of a youth movement.

The basketball gods have already blessed us in the past for doing the right thing.

Got the asset from OKC - turned into Mitch
Tanked - got RJ
got the asset from LAC - turned into IQ

This time if we ride the kids out, even if it’s just this short portion of the season, maybe we’ll get blessed again

I hear u dude but we just had a #3 pick, a #8 pick, and the rest of the young fellas have a great game without Julius, Rose, or Meech.

The tank is kinda set in stone at this point. The team isnt gonna lose every game so may as well win some for true development.

RJ and Obi arent Maurice Ndour and Jeremy Tyler. Who knows where they end up but the flashes are very encouraging. Gotta trust our scouts who have done pretty well.

Kudos to you for still keeping faith after 20 years of this. I lost faith a long time ago. Now I’m just starting to lose my interest. Sad.

Well hey I didnt watch games for a few weeks recently, but started watching again for the yoots. This was a good one.

The Knicks are a TV show. I take nothing serious with em. If I dont like the show I just turn it off until it gets “good” again. Like I may have only watched about 10 games in 19-20 lol.

So it’s not really about having faith for me, but just keeping perspective. I guess I do figure things will workout even accidentally at some point by sheer luck, but I feel u my man.

Maybe the Knicks invented a Randle injury to keep him out the rest of the season and get a good look at the rest of the roster? Would be nice.

Either way, the more games he sits out and the more these kids (especially Obi) get a chance to shine with him sidelined, the more likely the front office finally bites the bullet in the off season and trades his ass. It's clearly what the team needs more than anything. Get him off the team and start fresh.

I keep saying this- but the one trade I can see being available is Randle for Westbrook, and then you simply buy out Westbrook to avoid that idiot act all together. I don't see how that series of events hurts the Knicks. It would almost be as if they never re-signed Randle to being with. If you can get the Lakers to attach a pick, even a second rounder, great. But I'm tired of hearing about how the geniuses in the Knicks FO won't pursue a trade that doesn't net them real value. What could be more valuable at this point than ridding the team of a total cancer? Who's with me?

I agree with you..but this was the first game I watched from start to finish since the beginning of the season. Watching the young guys + ball movement was worth it.

1. Trade Randle + Fournier to LAL for Westbrook--buy WB out
2. Sign Tyus Jones for the MLE, 4-yr deal, give him the starting nod
3. S&T Mitch Rob for a late 1st and a couple of 2nd's; Trade Rose to Chicago for a pick.
4. Start Jones, Grimes, RJ, Obi, and Sims and see what they can give you. Bench: IQ, Burks, McBride, Cam, Noel

Intro a lot I could agree with- RJ could go downhill and finish b/c there wasn’t a clogged lane, ball was moving, Fournier is way more palatable as a bench guy, The Obi pick NOT player is a dud if you’re not going to play him

Fun to see Obi in a late-season meaningless romp, but at the end of the day, MSG/Dolan will still insist on paying for a cheap-thrill fool’s gold marquee name on the billboard. Regardless of whether it’s better for the team, fans, or even the longterm financial future of the Knicks. The only way Randle leaves is if we get an even dumber marquee name in return.

Not as random as Chris Duhon holding the most assists in a game but still pretty wild.

Lmao god I still remember those games.... He was such a bum couldn't score whatsoever all he did was pass...
21 right? I know it was 20

22 actually...

most ot David Lee and Al Harrington. Those two had ridiculous stat lines too..they combined for 73 pts and 33 rebs between the two. :o

God damn I hated how often dudu and Avi would overlook gallo and a Wilson to pad their stats.

Obi has really good instincts on offense. Makes the right passes, knows when to cut, leak out, spot up, and was real good today at attacking. Happy I got to see a nice solid glimpse of what Obi can be. Probably won’t happen here because of king Dubious Handles tho.

obi having 6 assists despite not having as many touches as bum ass randle regularly would shows just how badly knicks need to stop making randle the focal point.

he’s not good, anyone can average assists if they get 500 touches per game.
