It would be quite odd/bizarre for the knicks to trade a first round pick for Hart in order to cut into the minutes of a young 20 ppg scoring former high round pick they just extended at 30 million PER, IMHO. Then again the first Reddish trade was bizarre too.

Thibs could barely handle what he have. 2 Roster spots open. Something else is happening.

We say this every year after the first trade. Nothing more is happening. Probably will sign 2 bench warmers to make up for the 2 we lost.

How ironic Brunson and Hart’s first game will actually be back in Philly

McBride is pretty much done!!! one of IQ, Grimes, and RJ is going to be pissed at less minutes.

I dont understand this trade unless we have something else in the works. We dont have the minutes for Hart. Maybe a RJ type deal for OG? Brunson/Hart/OG/Randle/Mitch sounds nice.

He seems like Grimes with less shooting and more rebounds.

Meh I guess? Suppose another move happens or Deuce is out of the rotation.

Welcome though Josh to New Yawk.

he's a really good rebounder for his size which will be nice because we aren't the best rebounding team.

He can defend and he can slash and cut...the shot is so-so and he kinda had a hitch in his 3 this year. But if he can get back to shooting better he's a really good rotational player.

But not sure where the minutes are coming from unless there is a follow up move. Mcbride is def out of rotation but thats only 10 mins...my guess is hart gets close to mid 20's in mins so they need to find about 14ish...is that obi out of the rotation too?

And we don’t have time to be throwing in first round picks for Hart unless we making a serious move.

Having another starter level guy in the rotation will be huge for us. Should help out with minutes across the board

Brunson IQ
Grimes McBride
RJ Hart
Randle Obi
Mitch Hart

Now we got legit two PGs and a solid swing man rotation

I’m excited. Keep shopping though. Maybe go after a better bench big man

A hitch? Damnit he will be worse here. He actually played in offense.

Hart isn't starting. Why do we keep assuming he's starting.

It makes perfect sense if Hart just takes most of Deuce minutes and some of RJ's.

My assumption is that Hart will sub in for RJ with the starters first, then every start of the 2nd and 4th it will be

IQ
Hart
RJ
Obi
Hart

I don't think there's any other moves other than something with D Rose possibly.

Wonder if the Kyrie deal to Mavs had FO feeling more confident about keeping the Mavs pick. We still get a first round pick and back themselves in to pick up another steal in the late 20s.

We werent keeping two picks anyway and we seem to just settle for crappy deals on draft night so at least getting something better here
