Nah, i preferred getting Bridges and Johnson. We also have Nic Claxton who has been a DPOY level player this season, so it didn't make sense to also take back Ayton.

It made no sense getting Mikal when you're just burying Cam Thomas on the bench. Ayton and Claxton could've been a deadly front court since both can guard 1-5.

Cam still has a ways to go on both ends. Knowing when to pick and choose his spots, when to pass, team defensive iq all need work before he's ready to start full time. He works hard so i can see them starting together in the future.

Re: Ayton, i agree but I don't think Marks wants salary on the books after a certain point. Bridges and Thomas will be the only ones under contract in 2024 if I'm not mistaken.

I'm over here nerding out on stats before I leave work.

We simply can't allow RJ to shoot in the 1st quarter. He can cook in the 2nd and 3rd and if he's hot in the 4th. Really, the 2nd half is Son of Rick Brunson time.
