Gotta find a way for him to shoot inside more. He only shot 33% above the 3 last year and that's where he's shooting most of his shots. Having 2 bigs might be hurting him.

he shot 35% last year from 3 which isn't terrible so idk... but maybe it's time to break apart the ayton x bam front court :o

have you tried running post focus?

The 35% was overall and kind of misleading. the sim breaks it down to the type of shot. I don’t know the exact number but if I had to estimate about 90% of his shots came from above the break which is 33% and the other 10% came from the corner where he shot close to 46%.

this is where the sim loses me  they going crazy with analytics now. they never used to be like that. it's too deep for me atp

not that I know your team in and out...but just how I would project them IRL. Ayton/Bam/Tatum operate very well out of the post.

Giddey and Reaves are more drivers than shooters. Driving and post ups are more emphasized with Post Focus...so I think logically it makes some sense.

HS does have some good points that if Tatum wants to operate in the same areas that Bam/Ayton are it could force him into areas on the court he is not as efficient in.

MASSIVE game tonight against the Nets. Let's see how well we handle their three headed monster.

Our division is quite suddenly stacked. Brooklyn with Brunson/Butler/Embiid, Toronto with Wemby/Gobert, and New York with Haliburton/Booker. Brooklyn obviously has the best mix of backcourt/frontcourt stars, I have the best depth, Philly has some really talented young guys, Haliburton/Booker are both still incredibly young with Haliburton being a 1st team All-NBA candidate IRL this year, Wemby being Wemby, etc. Oof

Points teams have scored against us:
96, 111, 111, 99, 77, 106, 108, 124
With the exception of the outlier, our team defense has been atrocious. We're lucky to be 7-1.

I thought you were going to say it was good with the outlier being 124.

My observation is that scoring is up across the board just like IRL. Hell, I just gave up 140 to Orlando. And won!
