its smart.

other teams toronto, okc, showed the soft double at the top of the key immediately vs brunson

heat are bringing that soft wall but only once brunson is inside the 3pt line

Spoelstra is the best coach in the NBA and now other teams will employ that Defense. Brunson and the coaching staff have to adjust for this possibility.

Any ideas how?

brunson needs to stop worry about the officiating though

taking him out of the game

he's been a **** disaster out there

How do you stop worrying about it when you're only getting stopped because the other team is allowed to foul you and get away with it..

I just don't see how he can ignore that. Especially when the Heat get gifted weak calls all night too.

lets thibs worry about that...im not saying its right but its now negatively effecting his game.

Fatigue seems to have caught up to Brunson at least. He's having off games more often than before and some of it has to be attributed to the amount of miles put on his legs this season.

Still believe we should be shooting for the 6th seed somehow and get this whole team some rest.

Idc if they can get reinjured. Randle and OG need to come back now. Leaving Brunson to do this all alone is messed up, especially when Brunson routinely has come back from injuries quicker than expected.

That's why Brunson should be automatic all-NBA and may get a few votes for MVP. He's been carrying this team like Atlas.

Yeah skip it, its actually insane how we've been getting officiated and they still haven't fixed it despite being called out multiple times by Thibs and even Brunson now.

When do the officiating kick back into our favor?

Brunson looks so worn down having to generate all the offense for the Knicks plus there is only so much small ball Knicks can overcome.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

my suggestion and im upset ive never written this on the forum

but

I much prefer Brunson's straight line drive in iso into a fadeaway jumper when teams do these tricks on him.

Draymond said it right-- he prefers to guard brunson in ISO, and I think we should just run iso and ask brunson to focus less on trying to get so deep into the paint.

but ultimately he needs help. we need to hit shots on the kickout too.

this is why I dont like josh hart in the lineup rn. we unironically need to be playing burks or bojan with brunson more.

bc:

josh takes the kickout,

shot fakes and passes up an open three

dribbles into traffic.

happens too often.

Yeah. They won't be able to pull off that bull when we get Randle back. Just a temporary patch for Spo.

We have zero bench. Zero playmakers other than Brunson. Idk why the change was made to bring Precious out of the starting lineup. We began it in Denver... and I really don't think it has payed off at all. I like Hart or Deuce off the bench to bring energy.

Even when Bog makes some shots, he adds nothing really

Is it possible he'll be slightly useful with a full roster? Maybe. But right now he is purely a negative
