The noise is annoying. But I'm confident that og stays.
Though an expensive OG is rough. Paying a defensive specialist with limited offensive skills feels like it is going to make roster construction more difficult.
Especially one that is often injured

Unless Windy is getting this news directly from OG this sounds like it’s coming from an outside source, the Knicks aren’t going to put that out there and neither would his agent (considering who his agent is).
It doesnt bother me either way...The last OG injury rubbed me the wrong way to be honest. I'm not saying I dont
want him here. Im just saying that I support the FO if they are setting limits...
To beat Boston...We are going to need another elite defender anyway...what happenes if OG gets injured again....
We definitely don't beat a healthy Boston, Philly or the Bucks…. Maybe not the Heat either. Even healthy those teams are hurdles this squad got to get over.

Hey, if he goes there, then Paul George might be a sign and trade target for us no?

I think that we saw the team put OG in more offensive situations towards the end of the year. I thought he showed an ability to get to his spots from 13'-17' out where he could create space and score. Also, OG's excellent on the baseline cuts. Also, he can play some bully ball on the low post.
The Knicks stated that they feel that OG's offensive skills were not fully utilized with the Raptors.
Having said all that, I hope OG thinks that he can live a comfortable life for himself and his family on $35 million/year.

I wouldnt go that far...if we are talking about those teams as constructed- if WE were healthy- I think we culd have beat them but

35m/y is probably unrealistic but what he should get. It's about what jrue is making. And they're very similar players.

Windy Knick for clicks? Though guys usually take pay cuts, I doubt Leon lets him test free agency.

I never thought about that comparison but it appears to be true.
There is some entertainment value in seeing Leon’s son jerk his father around a little bit. I mean, he can’t let it appear to look like flagrant nepotism. We already got accused of that with Brunson.

Does OG have an all-star appearance or Finals MVP in him?

Re: OG - is he worth the money he’ll demand?
CAA propaganda. This is so after his agent Leon Rose gives him a max he can say, "we had no choice!??!?". The Knicks will be capped out, no chance at a title, and the CAA mafia can leech from Hart, i Hart, Randle, OG and Brunson long after they get traded off after Leon is fired. Dolan getting fleeced is funny if the team was actually finals capable.
