I don't think it's that easy. Nothing really can be known 100% either way, but there's a lot of things to consider.

One thing is that if nobody is caught for it, people will absolutely blame the gov. You can't have another JFK situation with 60+ years without knowing the truth. In this day n age with internet sleuths, camera phones, ring cameras, public cameras, etc, you have to be careful as to not have an assassin be caught and traced back. Didn't this latest guy get busted by a citizen who followed him and took a pic of his plate because he looked suspicious?

That being said, you need a patsy to take the wrap. So you need an Oswald, but you can't risk him talking either, and you can't have another Jack Ruby. Best way to avoid that is to have him be taken out by secret service.

So to avoid having a real assassin or shooter or their location (like on the Zapruder film) being caught on film again and traced back, maybe they just put their faith on the kid to be able to pull off a relatively simple shot after training for enough time (which he was doing).

We can't forget that he basically did pull it off... like, we saw that head turn at that split nano second that saved Trump's life... call it what you will, but that dude was done for until that happened.

Not to mention, the amount of people willing to take on that kind of mission can't be much, its a one way trip, unless you're gullible enough to believe lies that you'll be taken care of and helped out afterwards...like a young kid would. I don't see many professionals willing to take that job knowing it's a one way trip.

Either that or he was just a loner who wanted to go out with a bang. Who knows, but if I'm CIA, I'd think that'd be a pretty good plan all things considered. Nothing comes back on the agency... unless independent companies conduct their own research like the one that allegedly found cell phone pings between the kids house and an FBI office in DC :uhoh:

I honestly don't think it's that deep.

That dumb kid should have been shot dead the moment he climbed up onto his vantage spot. The Secret Service detail that Trump has with him is full of morons. There were so many unforced errors that day you'd think they were trying to get the buffoon killed. But most likely, we can attribute this entire thing to incompetence and not malice.

Trump doesn't want capable, serious professionals around him, he wants stooges and loyalists. I would bet that his detail is full of MAGA true believers that are nowhere near the best the SS has to offer.

If the US government wants you dead, you will be dead. There are no near misses.

What they certainly wouldn't do is say "damnit Jeff, we can't find anyone to take the mission... any of you know any jabronis?"

"Uh yeah let me scour 4chan for a few to see if I can find a potential school shooter we can mold into an assassin, and I'll get back to you on that one."

Again, this is kind of the issue when it comes to sports

There is just not sufficient data to say how much if any advantage trans women have. There's also simply not enough trans athletes to have their own competitions. It really is simple, just let them play, gather the data, and see where it leads. That's how science works

And again, I defer to the experts on the issues of when people should be allowed to transition. I don't study this stuff, but they do, and they have their recommendations. I'm not 100% on what the exact guidelines are regarding age of consent, but I trust them on the subject. And I'm not gonna pretend like my "common sense" gives me equal or better understanding of the process than experts who study it.

It's not that simple and that's not how things are done.

FIRST, you gather the data. Then, if the data holds up, you let them compete against women. You have the cart before the horse.

and I'm pro trans rights, but competition, especially head to head competition and saying "go ahead until we know more" is neither simple nor fair before it's studied.

As to when to transition and when hormones should begin, the endocrine society recommends 16, but doctors can start as early as 13 or 14 at the start of puberty. The age of concent is 18. So, if the parent and child are both in agreement, it can begin early. If the parent objects, . . . all the good medical advice in the world won't undo that.

A parent can say "I have my child's best interests in mind" and refuse. A parent can say "a teacher in her school put this idea in her head and it goes against my religion". What then? The law can spell it out, but this is a case where medical science might disagree with the laws of the land,

How do you solve this when the medical community begins 16 or younger but the age of concent doesn't begin till 18? All the studies in the world won't cure that conundrum.

So, I'm going back to what I said before. It's complicated.
God invented war so Americans would learn geography.

Kamala Harris is a person of color and a woman. That dictates their decision more than the $35 billion she and Biden provided to save their pension fund.

Or, in other words, an organization filled with racists and misogynists is not trying to hear from a Black woman -- no matter what she's done for them.

On another note, I think USA + West are losing the PR war here. We've been advised to stay away from Chinese hardware and software because they spy on us and steal our information. But now we have western hardware being planted with explosives. This isn't a good look, especially with all the sources and documentation.

Nothing about this seems "precision".

USA, Taiwan & Hungary (the latter 2 were part of the logistics trail) are already denying any work with the Mossad here. They don't want to be clumped into this mess.

EDIT: Looks like Lufthansa Group & Air France are cancelling flights due to pager scares.

Just wanted to add to this. I'm now reading reports that there's a second wave of attacks/explosions. This time with solar panels, intercoms, and radios exploding.

This doesn't seem like "sophisticated precision attacks". This looks like a ruthless brute force attack. Hospitals in Beirut are now overwhelmed just like the Gaza hospitals.

We already know that even Blinken pushed back on Israel attacking Lebanon. But it looks like Israel really wants a great war in the Middle East.

I would love to see Kamala Harris lay down the hammer here. If her or Biden don't step in, we will have a WW3. If Trump gets elected, he will go to war with Iran. And he's supposed to get 100m if he promises to annex the West Bank. So we already know "Trump can be bought". Anyways, WW3 with that option as well.

This is not a natural disaster. And we need to stop discussing it like it is one.

Israel is consistently in violation of Geneva Convention guidelines the way they willfully immolate non-combatants either in military assaults or this new device warfare they are ushering in. There is no way to defend them on this in the court of public opinion.

As always, Hamas is evil too, but the net effect of ten wrongs makes a right is not the math Israel needs to be using.

What these events will do is create eternal cycles of retribution, something it will become increasingly hard for the U.S. to stay embroiled in. The way Israel's leadership conducts themselves will turn them into an island surrounded by enemies without international support. The historical debt created by the holocaust has been worn out.

Assuming Harris is POTUS, I do want her to basically depose Netanyahu by telling the Israeli people either you vote him out or America will withdraw its support and effectively end our alliance. Enough is enough.

The CIA is only competent in movies. They have an extensive history of **** ups and failures.

Oh for sure. Bay of Pigs comes immediately to mind. That doesn't mean that they're wildly incompetent either though.

This guy was on LI at the Nassau Coliseum for a campaign rally and had the fukking nerve to say that he would ask for and sign legislation reinstating the $10,000 mortgage tax deduction if elected. It was HIS tax bill that eliminated it for middle class New Yorkers, New Jerseyans, and Californians! And the dumb mofo attendees clapped as if Trump would correct something that the Democrats did. Unbelievable.
