Great win against a good team. So good in fact, I heard it here that the Grizz coach runs a super brilliant 4d chess offense that no one has ever seen before.

The bench is playing better recently from how bad they were in the beginning of the season and the injuries did not help either. They've had some time together on the court now and look to be learning the system. Not sure if they turned the corner yet but its encouraging.

The 4 guys off the bench were never healthy together until just recently so nobody who was available got added to the rotation. It was always the same. They all got the exact opportunities they always had when they were healthy and available. Nothing changed except they just got healthy.

But this isn’t even your bench, your bench is the rookies that you kept crying about.

Anyway I’m sure deep down you were angry the Grizz coach lost to Thibs. But we eating good tonight though

Achiuwa 20 mins
Payne 16 mins
Deuce 24 mins
Shamet 12 mins

Now go look up their season average mins per game

Grizz coach broke your heart but you have to learn not to worship these false idols

That's 12 minutes more than the bench avgs on the season. You're wrong.

The most encouraging sign is that the bench seems to finally be producing and thus spelling our starters some much needed rest. 2-4 minutes less per game for our starters will do wonders for this team.

Play the bench more and we win more. Simple plan. I'll take 72 minutes and 52 points every day and twice on Sunday. Team looks rested the last couple of games. The bench is coming together. If Thibs keeps this new rotation up I will have no complaints with him. Nothing else is really going to change but, playing the bench more was/is the most important change we needed to see.

I'm wondering where R-DAWG is PMS-ing about Bridges, because sure as sh*t he isn't doing it here.

Consider me the most extreme Thibs hater, but if he keeps playing the bench like today, even I don't want him fired

When you play you're more involved, you're more invested... how can the bench players/ rookies be invested if they don't play? When all play the camaraderie feels genuine and players are happy for each other.

Maybe please just play Kolek and Huk more, like from 2-3 garbage mins to 5-8 mins, they really can play and can give our team boosts.

Great win against a top 5 team. Top notch performance all around!! Really enjoyed this one. Everyone played solid and the defense was really good.

I really like the defense that Bridges, OG and Precious provide....hope we keep them all. Props to everyone.

Also liked that Thibs went 9 deep early. The bench sustained the lead in the first half and helped blowing the game wide open in the second. I'm neither pro nor against Thibs but I really liked the defense, the bench play and his minutes distribution in the last two games. Very encouraging to see...

This type of play is repeatable. We don’t need to shoot the lights out to win when the overall energy looks like this.

So many great facets tonight.

Active hands, fast feet, dribbling with head up, outlet passes.

Mikal has added a zero to his next contract compared with his early season play.

I love how Cam keeps his defender off balance.

This game had as many highlights as half a season in the bad old days

Refs are hating Brunson lately. Anyone is free to lower their shoulder an obliterate him

Knocking Boston out of the 2 seed would be huge. Conference Semis Game 7 at the Garden. The real Garden.

I think so. It's hard for me to come up with a better starting 5 in the whole league right now. As far as history we have to win a chip first for me to be fully there. But since the the champions of the early seventies maybe even including the Ewing ERA this is the most talented Knicks team I've seen.

Watched the replay too. Great game. It clicked early and it never felt like we were going to lose. For the Thibs defense team, even CLYDE talks about Thibs substitutions. He was a shocked as I was when we went to the bench early. It's not just a few posters on RealGM. EVERYONE talks about it.

I just hope he stays with this rhythm and let's it play out. Still a little annoying with the late game 34 points with 6+ minutes left and he doesn't pull the guys for another 3 minutes. Why take that risk? Let the other guys play more than 2-3 minutes. You're not going to lose at that point even if we don't score at all in the final 6 minutes. All it takes is a bad closeout and an ankle rolls. Or a dunk where a player pops his shoulder out. Or a hammy injury. Freak accidents when they don't even need to be out there. I just want this team healthy and firing on all cylinders when the playoffs start. 9.5 man rotation when Mitch gets back.
