Thats right, I forgot they did not have Herro and Rozier. Celtics and Cavs were missing big pieces too.

herro sucks on defense so it's prob a wash.

Herro is an all star.. how is that a wash? That’s a major piece lol

he's a very good offensive player but one of those guys that gives up as many points as he gets. the heat roster we faced didn't really have weaknesses on defense to attack. they're able to play significantly better defense when he's not out there. "wash" is definitely a stretch though, i'm just being a hater. he was good last year.

Im mildly concerned about the kat and brown relationship.

Between that interview where kat expressed confusion about his role. His poor performances so far and them having an argument on the bench its somewhat concerning. Hopefully its just early growing pains and things smooth out.

Just 57 games into his tenure as Knicks coach, Nelson is having a very hard time finding supporters in New York. His conflicts with his players have been well-chronicled so far -- Patrick Ewing, Charles Oakley, Derek Harper, John Starks and the now-departed Charles Smith have all found fault in the man with the rep as a "players' coach." But Nelson couldn't even catch a break after a face-saving rout of the Warriors on Sunday that ended an ugly five-game losing streak.

Starks, benched by Nelson during the trip, came off the bench to score 21 points Sunday, then went off on his coach. "You don't take advantage of a player, try to make him look bad," he said. "All of a sudden, you boost another player in front of him? If you want that to happen, be a man about and say you want the situation to be this way." He added that the whole rift had made his relationship with Nelson (ironically, his first NBA coach as an undrafted rookie in 1988) "unhealable. You can never heal the hurt."

I can respect being a hater. I am one as well.

But in my opinion, I think we really should've won that game. Especially with no Herro too. I mean there's no reason why we should be losing a game to Simone Fottechenio and Jaime Jacquez. To me that's mainly on the coach at that point. I really don't like how our offense has been looking. We have way more offensive power than the Heat and we barely scored 100 points. Hopefully things look better tommorow night against the Bucks, cause yesterday was really ugly to watch

I dont like losing and I refuse to be grounded and rational about it this year. Expect the same energy about wins too. Im not on greenies level... no one is. But we have high expectations this year and probably the only year in my lifetime we have a legit shot at a title. So expect me to to go in on kat or anyone(not og) else if they fck up my one shot to experienxe basketball glory.

Og is a lil delusional about his offensive repertoire

Constructive criticism is a sign of love and a healthy relationship.

You should try it with kat and mikal and mike brown instead of blaming others for their shortcomings.

And I said "lil" to ease the blow so I get a pass.

yea the offense feels random. I hated on Thibs offense for the lack of creative "set" plays - but brown's offense seems to be just as much "read and react" just with more pace and chucking 3s off drive and kick. hopefully it gets better over time.

I will allow the advice for Mikal since I have been a huge fan of his game since the Nova days and wanted us to draft him over that bum Knox. But making me into a KAT superfan is diabolical behavior.

I try to maximize his value while he is on the Knicks for the best possible outcome for this franchise. So when I say KAT should play mostly 5 because he helps the Knicks win more at the 5 than at the 4. It doesn't mean he is my ideal build of a player (since I value defense highly).

However beggars can't be choosers...especially considering who we traded to get KAT.

New system...Allan Hahn said he wouldn't be surprised if we were 10-10 after 20 games....but its to be expected . Its happened to other teams and we wont be the last. The good news is that you can see how lethal this system can be, because even without the shots falling we have won or have been in the game.
