Ok after hearing this from Stephon I'm gonna walk back from the ledge on Karl. I'll give him some grace, but last night was unacceptable and I never want to see him go awol again

He is hurt but trying to play through because next man up is someone named Jemison who no one ever heard of

This is a roster issue we dont have the luxury to sit him which is wack, they failed to unearth some gems at this moment with the limited assets late picks etc

Look at OKC still finding some guys like Ajay Mitchell, he would have been huge for us right now off the bench

Just rewatched the game. The only thing we did better in the 2nd quarter honestly was hit our shots. The team generated some good looks all game but we just dont have lethal knock down shooters. The game plan of shooting 35+ threes may not be the best approach for this team.

That’s not a fair assessment. He dominated early last year until the opposing teams started putting wings on him. Thibs did not adjust to this strategy and the constant complaint was how much Brunson and him did not have any chemistry together.

This is a small sample size but the Towns of last year is not enough to win a championship either. An offense that maximizes his shooting ability while decreasing his turnover rate is ideal for him and allowing him to be matched against other bigs is essential we are just gonna have to wait and see and hopefully Towns is just hurt.

He is playing the worst basketball of his career. Last year he had arguably the best season of his career not just early on but even later on in the year he was a lot better than this

It’s been 4 games…and he has a quad strain. Like come on I’m trying to meet you in the middle but no one can rationally come to any conclusion in such a small sample size.

We can reach the Finals with how weak top of the East is due to injuries and it wont change the fact MB still sucks. I really doubt he will be able to out chess which ever beast of a team comes out West

You make it seem like people personally hate Thibs or that Thibs was some type of scapegoat when HE was his own worst enemy. Mike Brown sucking doesn’t mean that Thibs also didn’t suck. At least now there’s a coach that’s willing to try new things instead of trying the same lineup every **** game and hoping something changes.

I know, I wanted Thibs gone. But we gotta find someone better than Brown and this year is the opportunity

Depends on who is shooting them

Some guys like KAT, Jalen, and OG are shooting in the low 30's, but eventually they'll start falling for them because they are historically good 3pt shooters

Mikael, Deuce, and Shamet have started the season shooting at a high clip

Last season may have been an exception for Clarkson. Clarkson is shooting in the low 30's on threes right now which is what he has shot for the majority of his career. Unless he gets on a hot streak and improves his percentage, I am concerned that he is not a fit on our team. We could have been better off with Garrison Matthews lighting it up.

Kolek gets a pass because he is just now getting consistent playing time. He has only put up 11 3pt attempts and made three of them thus far. He needs to put up like 50 of them before we know whether is reliable from three.

Josh and Yabu have been atrocious. If they cant hit threes, then I don't know if they can do enough good things on the floor to compensate for a lack of 3pt shot

So 4 games into the season with Brown as the new coach (keeping in mind we already beat the Celtics and Cavs who we didn't beat at all last regular season) and you expect the FO to get a new coach this year?

Dude had a million injuries last year including knee pain and a dislocated finger and still played much better. He’s publicly admitted he isn’t comfortable in this offense, body language has been terrible, on court play terrible and we saw him with Brown on the sidelines not being on the same page. Like how much more do you need to see to come to rational conclusion?

I'm not a huge fan of KAT but I have a hard time believing that one of the best shooting bigs of all-time can't fit into a system that could generate a ton of open looks from the perimeter. He looked terrible last night but he looked that way many times last year while on his way to averaging 24ppg 13rpg and 3apg .

I don't know how he had so much success with all those awkward post ups, reckless drives and 30 foot 3's in his game last year but he did so until I see him fail doing it for a much longer stretch than 4 games i'm not going to worry too much about his offense. Hopefully he gets better integrated into the flow over time and finds easier looks because I definitely didn't want to see KAT forcing the issue as often once again this year.

I've calmed down now.

This offense will take time to get adjusted to. KAT cannot have another bad game.

I'm a bit concerned Kendrick calling him out. A former player. Means more than our usual board back and forth chatter. KP probably knows how the league players feel about him.

Doesn’t mean much. Durant hates Perkins.

KAT isn’t going to shoot 35% from the field. Maybe we should relax?

Let’s see how they’re going I’m games 16-20. New system new roles. Some injuries. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
I dunno.

Both Karl and Yabu came into season out of shape. I'm glad Perkins said this.

Like I'm not trying to be aggravated after 4 games but it's clear to me who needs to get their sh*t together in a hurry.

Your losses are so severe that you are claiming victory in October. And most importantly.

Spoiler:
You STILL have to watch KAT on the Knicks, I don't have to watch that other guy 8-)

nobody thinks the season is over. we're talking about if we have the right pieces to win a championship.
