i think you have a good team, mecca. really solid. have a second scorer as well.

only thing i see wrong with your team is that there aren't many playoff battle tested players. livingston is about it, and west is too far on the decline to be as effective going forward. that said, you have a gritty team, especially in kemba, porter, and west. defensive grit can sometimes cause a lot of upsets.

damn nice team though, especially for the next 3-5 years. perennial playoff team, at the worst.

i'm contemplating releasing all those i have on ignore, because this is pretty entertaining. i usually do it to remove clutter on the BAT screen.

abe and I used to go at each other, but the man knows ball. we differ, but he definitely knows his ****. not sure if he had me in the playoffs. but if he did, that shows he's not biased.

Granted I'm not in a lot of BAT's, but the one's that I've been in...
- Building that youth team might be fun, but it's essentially useless in this competition. Never understood why people do this.
- Taking stats player X is doing as a fourth option and expecting them to do that as a number two option.
- Using Per36 numbers and expecting that player whose averaging 20 minutes a game to do that as a full time starter.

Always seem to be the similar problems... then again some just get to damn emotional.

you nailed all 3 important parts that some overlook, especially the first one. i just don't get it either. what's the point of taking all young guys and saying you have a good franchise - you probably don't.

and the second point is important also. look at the cousins trade. to expect he and davis to have the SAME exact production with their stats is stupid. both will most likely have their numbers decline because of the other; not a bad thing, it may produce more wins. melo is averaging 23 ppg. you put him on the clippers right now, he's not going to average the same. same skill set, but you can't assume he'll put up the same production.

Same to you bro. We were robbed of seeing CP3/Dwight duo in reality. That team is the best defense is this by far

I never got around to doing a eastern conference power rankings, but you have one of the best teams in the east. Very balanced, clear cut roles, star(s), great passers/defenders and overall a high IQ team.

So, some REALLY great TNT night matchups this first Round:

    - KD vs Westbrook :o
    - Lebron vs the rest of the banana boat
    - Me vs Mecca :P
    - Mavs matchup
    - Nuggets vs Grizzlies (I think MP's lack of help outside of Curry will hurt him)

On a side note: REALLY, REALLY surprised the Suns didn't make it.

I don't even need to go that far back to when you admitted that you aint watching the games. You not fit to be a Judge saying **** like this.

This is just YESTERDAY.

What I'm saying there is I don't like watching Cousins play so I don't. You paying attention?

man save it. The point is that your not watching games to accurately judge any of these players. Im using cousins as an example of this point he aint the only player. Since that is the point, how you can judge ANY of the players you not watching. Lin aint winning **** his damn self, but since you LIKE him, he would be more favorable to you. THATS BIAS. You basically popping **** calling people names cause YOU ARE A LAZY Judge. Calling cats rotations garbage etc. You was better off keeping your mouth shut. Why shouldn't GM's be tight that you not reading Pimps. **** if Judges was not reading Pimps I doubt Mecca makes the playoffs last BAT. Its OBVIOUS that pimps HELP Judges to understand what the vision is. But I guess your wizardry with out watching the games is unmatched. The question aint if I am paying attention. THE STATEMENT IS THAT YOU NOT WATCHING. I have watched your posts and you have a CLEAR bias against certain players. Judging should be free from that, and its obvious you not free from it.

ayo, last BAT I barely wrote 100 words. This was my writeup

New York Knicks

PG - Kyrie Irving - Shelvin Mack - Tyler Ulis
SG - Marcus Smart - Trey Burke - Dante Exum - Jodie Meeks
SF - Luc Mbah a Moute - Al Farouq Aminu - Jodie Meeks
PF - Al Farouq Aminu - Mike Scott - Kevon Looney
C - Marc Gasol - Dwayne Dedmon - Noah Vonleh

Coming into this BAT, I wanted to build a team New York would have pride in. I wanted defensive intensity complimented with just a bit of swagger. My final product speaks for that, as Kyrie and Marc Gasol are a formidable duo.

My team design is 2001 Sixers mixed with 21st century Grizzlies. We're gritty, grimy, dirty at the 2-5. Smart, Aminu, Mbah, and Gasol all are elite defenders at the 2-5. On offense, I always felt like Kyrie is the closest thing to AI, and I wanted to put him in a position where he can reach his potential as an offensive talent in full Westbrook mode.

With Gasol's 41% from 3 season, a lot of pick and pop/PnR's are designed for a 2 man game as well as having one of the singular best iso players in the NBA. It's grit and Kyrie, essentially. A team that plays this much defense will always make it to the playoffs.
(Nets GM - 2018 - 2021)
2019 & 2020 Eastern Conference Champion
Milwaukee Bucks (2025)
PG - Dylan Harper - DLo
SG - Jaden Ivey - Ja'Kobe Walter - Bones Hyland
SF - Jaylen Brown - Terrace Mann
PF - Tobias Harris - Sam Hauser
C - Thomas Sorber

Return to New York Knicks
