The classic mistake everyone makes in these situation is assuming because you (third person) don't know what the KNicks plan to do, or why they plan to do it, that the Knicks don't know what they're doing and why.
We assume because we're uncertain, and because the situation seems to waver, that the Knicks are uncertain, wavering or hedging.
That's not necessarily true.
The Knicks may be planning to match, and they may have been planning to all along.
then why bring in 3 other point guards ? c'mon man.
