maybe against certain matchups and teams...but UTAH has some big boys! Jefferson, Milsap, Kanter, Favors....novak can't stick with any of those guys at the 4 so u would think Jordan would have to get some run tonight.

Maybe Amar'e being out will allow him to correct his other mistake and give Jerome Jordan some minutes. But I doubt he will see the floor.

What other option is there? douglas? no hes terrible. Shumpert? not a pg at all cant distribute. Lin is the only pg we have so he should start.

^ This. Lin could have another career night, and for some unknown reason be in the dog house the rest of the season.

Or he could have a disappointing night (it's unlikely he'll repeat Saturday's performance) and be judged too harshly for it. In the Boston game, he played well overall, but looked rattled when they pressured him and then didn't see any time in the 2nd half. The fans need to lower their expectations and the coach needs to show patience.

It was too much, too soon for Shumpert. Lin is built for this. The only thing I'm worried about is turnovers, he can't get careless with his dribble or passes.

we have to believe in this kid
epeople doubted him every step of the way to the nba
and every step he prove them wrong
this kid is brilliant ,humble and works really hard.
my only concern is, too much too fast

Great for Lin, he should be riding high and the good news for him is that he won't be facing Deron, though his opposing pg does have NJ connections ;-)

Really sad for Stat. That guys has had a tough life man (and a great life). He was just coming on lately. I think we may see some Jordon as Lin has some chemistry with him. Perhaps he too is playing good in practice and the stars will pressure coach to play him ;-)

Melo is going to have to step things up and it looks like Lin will play a bigger role offensively with Stat out.

he doesn't have to put up 20 points or 10 assists. As long as he does not lose us the game like Toney does, I am happy.
