Valdespania going on for the Mets as he hits a 3 run shot as the Mets were down 2-0 in the top of the 9th.

Re: *Linsanity over? Part X*
Felton came in to Portland's training camp overweight, and he averaged 11.4 points and 6.4 assists in the shortened 2011-12 season. In addition, he had his lowest field goal percentage (40.7%) since the '06-'07 season, and his lowest 3-point field goal percentage (30.5%) since the '08-'09 season.
He also had the lowest rebounding average (2.5 per game) of his career.En route to leading Portland to a 28-38 finish, Felton averaged 2.8 turnovers in just 31.8 minutes per game.
He better change his attitude.

man in hindsight we shouldn't have resigned novak before getting lins offer sheet.. novaks and feltons contracts total up to 7 mil, which would have been enough of a savings to match that poison pill 3rd yr on lins deal.. I still think we'd be able to unload those two guys at some point to a below cap team for a second round pick or so..

its damage control, and how they will handle the press....routine.
There's something about an underdog that really inspires the unexceptional.

Pharmcat got it right, not about money. They felt Lin changed, and got a big head, and betrayed them.
